The Batmobile has been rumored to come to Fortnite for months, but it seems that the day has finally arrived. Check below to find out which Batmobile has joined the scene, and how you can add this iconic vehicle to your locker, and perhaps even get it for free if you're a veteran of Rocket League.
How to Get the Batmobile in Fortnite
How to Get the Batmobile Through Rocket League
The Batmobile was released in the Fortnite Item Shop on September 19, 8 PM ET, and will be available until October 3, 8 PM ET.
The Batmobile costs 2,500 V-Bucks to get, and comes with 4 Decals, 1 Boost, and 1 set of Wheels. The Batmobile is also a 2-seater, as it's a Sports Car. While players can spend a hefty amount of V-Bucks on this iconic car, veterans of Rocket League might actually be able to claim it for free due to past purchases. If players have linked their Rocket League account and their Fortnite account via Epic Games, the two will synergize and automatically port over previously purchased cosmetics. This means that if players purchased the Batmobile in Rocket League, they can claim it in Fortnite simply by booting up the game and seeing it gifted to their locker. This might benefit some players, as the Batmobile (1989) was only 1,100 Credits in Rocket League, which is around $9.99, whereas 2,500 V-Bucks is around $22.99.
Are There Other Batmobiles in Fortnite?
Currently, the Batmobile (1989) is the only Batmobile featured in Fortnite. This Batmobile comes from the Tim Burton and Michael Keaton era of Batman, but Rocket League does have additional Batmobiles. In Rocket League, players can also get The Dark Knight's Tumbler, from Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale's The Dark Knight Trilogy, along with the Batmobile (2016) from Zack Snyder and Ben Affleck's Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and lastly, The Batmobile (2022) from Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson's The Batman. Sadly, these Batmobiles have not currently been added to Fortnite.
