Where to Carve Pumpkins in Fortnite
Fortnitemares tasks players with carving sets of pumpkins scattered across the map. Find out exactly where you need to head to complete the quest.
Of course, Fortnite’s Fortnitemares event also brings with it a fresh lineup of skins and cosmetics, arguably the biggest collection of any event so far. From seeing the Mystery Inc. Crew in-game to popular slasher icons like Ghost Face, Epic Games has really gone all out when it comes to seriously cool skins. Here are just some of the best ones debuting with Fortnitemares 2025.
Ghost Face
Part of the Ghost Face Set
- How to Get: Purchase for 1,500 V-Bucks (OR purchase the Ghost Face Bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks)
If players really want to get into the spooky spirit for Halloween in Fortnite, then going with Ghost Face may be the way to go. Ghost Face is the popular slasher icon from the Scream franchise, and his skin in Fortnite is both awesome and faithful to the character.
With an all-black cloak that’s torn near the bottom and his signature ghost mask, jumping out at players as Ghost Face is sure to deliver a few scares. What’s more, players can also pick up his trusty hunting knife as a pickaxe, fully completing the look.
Jason
Part of the Jason Universe: Revenge Set
- How to Get: Purchase for 1,500 V-Bucks (OR purchase the Jason Bundle for 2,500 V-Bucks)
If one slasher icon wasn’t enough, Epic has also brought in another fan-favorite horror movie character, one that Friday the 13th fans will want to grab before he leaves the shop for good. This is, of course, Jason, the terrifying undead antagonist of the franchise.
With his signature hockey mask and rugged clothing, Jason is a great skin to rock for Fortnitemares and definitely one of the standout additions to the 2025 lineup. For players looking to complete the set, there’s also a trio of pickaxes to collect: his hatchet, machete, or both simultaneously. These can be purchased together in the full bundle or separately.
Red Ruin Joni
Part of the High Stakes Nitemares Bundle
- How to Get: Purchase for 800 V-Bucks (OR purchase the High Stakes Nitemaeres Bundle for 2,400 V-Bucks)
Next up is Red Ruin Joni, one of three skins that are part of the High Stakes Nitemares Bundle. Many players may already be familiar with Joni, a character who has both a Crew Skin and an additional outfit as part of the High Stakes Club Bundle. Red Ruin Joni serves as the third skin, and it’s definitely a good one at that.
With Fortnitemares being filled with collaborations, it’s nice to see original skins also make it into the mix. On top of the skin itself, players get the Red Wings back bling to complete the vampire look, and can even choose to remove the bat ear wings if they don’t quite suit their style. Furthermore, if players just want to pick up the skin on its own, it will only cost 800 V-Bucks, which is an absolute steal.
Scooby-Doo
Part of the Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Bundle
- How to Get: Purchase for 1,500 V-Bucks (OR purchase the Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Bundle for 3,400 V-Bucks)
Scooby-Doo might have been the last character players expected to see crossing over into the world of Fortnite for Halloween, but the beloved character has made his debut along with the rest of Mystery Inc. Many wondered how a Scooby-Doo costume would even work, but of course, Epic managed to outdo themselves.
Scooby-Doo in Fortnite is absolutely hilariously fun, featuring an art style that blends pretty seamlessly with the rest of the game while still looking like the character fans of the show know and love. He also sports a glowing skeleton Halloween costume, along with an additional cel-shaded style that gives him a more cartoonish look.
Huggy Wuggy
Part of the Huggy Wuggy Set
- How to Get: Purchase on its own or as part of the Huggy Wuggy Bundle (Price to be determined)
Fans may have to wait quite a while before getting their hands on a Five Nights at Freddy’s skin inside Fortnite. However, for Fortnitemares 2025, they can play as another popular toy mascot from a separate horror game. This is, of course, Huggy Wuggy from Poppy Playtime.
Huggy Wuggy is definitely one of the creepier skins to arrive in Fortnite, and one that’s sure to give some players a good scare. With his signature blue appearance and sharp-toothed grin, he fits the horror theme perfectly. What’s more, players can also get the Grab Pack back bling, Ready to Pop emote, and Slappy Sledge pickaxe by purchasing the entire bundle or picking them up separately.
The Dark Maw
Part of the Knight's Bite Set
- How to Get: Purchase for 1,200 V-Bucks (OR purchase The Dark Maw Bundle for 1,600 V-Bucks)
Back to Fortnite’s original designs now with The Dark Maw, an outfit that joins Fortnite’s long list of knight skins. In fact, this skin resembles the Black Knight from the original Battle Pass, only with a few differences: the gaping mouth in the center with rows of sharp teeth, and the glowing reactive eyes on the chest plate.
The Dark Maw is a seriously creative skin amidst a lineup of crossovers and collaborations, and it’s definitely one worth securing for Fortnitemares 2025. Paired with the Mawblade pickaxe and the Maw’s Minic back bling, both of which feature the same terrifying, sharp-toothed black design, players have themselves an epic set.
The Final Peel
Part of the Peeltergeist Set
- How to Get: Purchase from the Item Shop (price to be determined)
A major event wouldn’t be complete without a new Peely skin, and it just so happens that Fortnitemares 2025 brings one of the best versions of Peely into the game. The Final Peel is a skin that many players may have already seen ahead of its Item Shop release date, as he appears as one of the bosses in the K-Pop Demon Hunters Demon Rush LTM.
The Final Peel gives players a ghostly version of Peely that glows green and features a translucent design revealing Peely’s inner skeleton. Add his Nana Phantom plushie back bling, Bone-Nana Basher guitar, and Final Wishbones pickaxe, and players have a seriously cool outfit on their hands.
Lady Marigold
Part of the Golden Revenant Set
- How to Get: Purchase from the Item Shop (price to be determined)
Marigold has finally received another skin variant, and one that arrives just in time for the Fortnitemares 2025 lineup. There are quite a few vampire skins already in Fortnite, but one that turns to gold as you rack up eliminations? Now that’s a unique one.
Just like Marigold’s other variants, Lady Marigold will turn to gold as players earn eliminations. However, if players prefer to keep her signature red and black look, they can do so by turning the reactivity off. Paired with her very own cape and gold dual-wield pickaxes (Batwing Blades), Lady Marigold may just be the coolest skin in this year’s Fortnitemares lineup.
