Summary
- Doom's Courtyard is seen as a top landing spot in Fortnite for loot advantage, despite changing metas and fans' opinions on mythic weapons.
- Players can experience a strategic edge by looting Doom's Courtyard then heading to Doomstadt, where Mysterio's medallion can be found.
- While Doom's Courtyard has become less popular due to reduced loot post-update, some players still believe it offers a good risk-to-reward ratio.
Fortnite fans are always looking for the drop locations that give them the best loot in a match, and it seems like a lot of players think that Doom's Courtyard has the best risk-to-reward ratio as compared to other POIs in the game. Dropping in a good location is quite crucial in a Fortnite match as it can easily give players a headstart over their opponents, but the game's evolving map makes it quite difficult for fans to stick to a constant meta.
Fortnite fans are always looking forward to collaborations, and the ongoing partnership with Marvel was by far one of the most hyped ones. However, some fans are disappointed with Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4's Mythic weapons, as they think that it has made the game unbalanced. Amid that, fans are quite curious to find the best landing spot in the game.
Unvaulted Fortnite Weapon Leaving Players Frustrated and Calling For a Nerf
Many Fortnite fans are frustrated over a specific unvaulted weapon, saying that it needs to be nerfed because of how strong it is.
In a new post on the Fortnite subreddit, user Saintios11 asks the community about the best landing spot in the current season. While different players have their own preferences, several fans seem to be of the opinion that Doom's Courtyard is one of the best landing spots in Fortnite. Players noted that there are two giant chests along with a plethora of smaller ones, making it a great spot to get well-equipped before heading to other popular nearby locations such as Castle Doom. Additionally, many highlighted the fact that the area is not that populated with players unless it lies in the path of the Battle Bus.
Fortnite Players Think Landing In Doomstadt Makes Defeating Mysterio Easier
Another useful strategy shared by user Osprey6767 is to grab the loot from Doom's Courtyard, and then head to Doomstadt. Doomstadt is currently a hot drop in the game, so it is quite likely that by the time players loot Doom's Courtyard and head to Doomstadt, there will be significantly fewer players. With the stacked inventory one would likely have an edge over the players in Doomstadt. Not to forget, players can also get Mysterio's medallion in Doomstadt in Fortnite. Mysterio's medallion has been one of the most divisive ones in the game, as some players seem to find it useless, while others have had quite a lot of success with it. The invisibility feature can be an absolute game-changer and can help players counter some of the mythics.
While the landing spot is something a lot of players rely on, others highlighted that it has been nerfed after the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 update. Classy Courts was replaced by Doom's Courtyard in the recent update, and fans noted that the loot is significantly less than what it had previously. That being said, the reduction in loot might have driven away some players from the spot, making it less popular and improving the risk-reward ratio.
