Fortnite has been doing non-stop collaborations for a while now, from a range of popular anime skins hitting the Item Shop to a whole season centered around The Simpsons. It seems the cartoon collaborations are not stopping either, as Fortnite has opened 2026 with its first big update, and it is all about South Park.

The South Park characters have arrived in the Item Shop, and players can also wield three new items themed around the popular show. However, that is not all, as players can now bag themselves some free South Park rewards through the Born in Chaos Mini Pass. Here is everything you need to know.

How Does the Born in Chaos Mini Pass Work in Fortnite?

The Born in Chaos South Park Mini Pass functions similarly to past mini-passes, only this time with a twist. The Born in Chaos Mini Pass features only one track of rewards and is completely free for all players to level up and unlock, with no need to spend V-Bucks.

To level up the pass and unlock rewards, players will need to complete quests in Battle Royale to gain CRED, with each reward earned by reaching certain milestones. As of the release of the Chaos Mini Pass, players can earn up to 2,400 CRED right away by completing quests, giving them the ability to unlock the first two rewards. Additional quests will be available on January 14 at 9 AM ET.

As a bonus, players will also be able to earn Member Berries by completing four quests in each Born in Chaos questline, and by earning six, they can unlock the final reward, a free Glider. Of course, players will need to wait for every questline to release to do so.

Players also have the option to buy every reward in the pass for 1,800 V-Bucks, or individual rewards for 150 V-Bucks each. Doing so can give players early access to all its contents.

When Does the Born in Chaos Mini Pass End in Fortnite?

South Park's Stick of Truth will let players control the storm in Fortnite.

The Born in Chaos Mini Pass was officially released on January 9 at 6 AM ET. The pass will be available for a full 20 days and officially becomes unavailable on February 5 at 1 AM ET. As is the case with all rewards, once it leaves, all Born in Chaos Mini Pass rewards may return to the Item Shop at a later date.
