The Bug Blaster is a weapon that players can find at Rare to Legendary rarity and, like many other weapons introduced in Chapter 6 Season 4, shares many of the same spawn locations as most guns and loot. Players can get their hands on the Bug Blaster by simply looting supply caches, with the following yielding the best chances of obtaining one right from the get-go:

  • Chests and Rare Chests
  • Hive Stashes (Found in Hive Locations like The Hive, Ranger's Ruin, or Stormy Stash)
  • O.X.R. Drop Pod (spawned to the player's location as they rank up)

Another surefire way for players to get the Bug Blaster is to defeat a Bomber. These large bugs are the toughest of the bunch besides the Queen, but will drop a Bug Blaster of Rare, Epic, or Legendary rarity when defeated.

An Epic Bug Blaster can also be purchased from the Expertise Vending Machines in exchange for Gold Bars. However, to get the weapon this way, players will need to progress through the O.X.R. Expertise Quests.

The Bug Blaster is a powerful weapon designed to deal massive damage to both structures and enemy players with ease. While players can fire the weapon normally by tapping the shoot button, doing so only unleashes a portion of its full damage potential. To truly make the most of it, players should charge up their shot by holding the fire button, then releasing it to launch a high-powered, energy-based projectile.

This charged shot not only delivers maximum damage but also features a small blast radius, great for dishing out damage on multiple targets. Furthermore, this charge can be canceled by simply swapping weapons while still holding the fire button.
