Fortnite is hosting another Coachella event, and this year it's bigger than ever before. Fortnite launched nearly seven years ago, and over this time, the game has hosted all kinds of memorable crossover events.
Fortnite's in-game concerts and festivals have proven to be incredibly popular. These musical performances allow players to experience live shows in the comfort of their own homes. Despite taking place in a virtual world, these events are always a hit among the Fortnite community. It's no surprise that players keep asking for more, which is why Epic Games continues to host them.
In 2022, Fortnite added Coachella content to the game, and it was a hit. Last year was no different, so players were expecting a new event for 2024, and it turns out they won't be disappointed. Epic Games is once again collaborating with Coachella, and it seems this year's event will be bigger than ever. J Balvin is returning to Fortnite with a brand-new item set: the Inferno Skeleton Balvin skin, the Zappy-Go-Backy back bling, and the Mi Gente song as a jam track. On top of this, the Horizon and Cosma skins will also be added to the Item Shop alongside the rest of their set.
When Is the Fortnite Coachella Event?
- From April 11 at 8 PM ET until April 18 at 8 PM ET
As if the cosmetic items weren't enough, players will be able to purchase two emotes - one featuring Doja Cat's "Paint the Town Red" and another one featuring Sabrina Carpenter's "Feather." On top of this, eight new Fortnite jam tracks will be available in the Item Shop during the time of the event.
