Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 has officially landed, and this time, the spotlight is firmly on superheroes. Players jumping into the action can expect intense boss battles, high-tech gadgets like the Bass Boost, and plenty of opportunities to snag a Victory Royale while climbing through the Battle Pass.

While this season introduces a host of features and gameplay mechanics, some familiar elements are making a return. One constant that’s stuck around throughout Chapter 6 is Sprites, colorful elemental critters that have roamed the island since Season 1. However, now they’ve got a bit of a new look. Here’s where to find Dash and Superman Sprites in Fortnite.

Robin can be found on the Fortnite island with a few quests to be completed that will earn players some nice XP for their Battle Pass progress.

Where To Find Dash & Superman Sprites In Fortnite

While Dash Sprites and Superman Sprites can be found scattered across the Fortnite island, the most reliable way to locate them is by visiting a Sprite Shrine. Interacting with a Shrine reveals nearby Sprites in its vicinity, and there are almost always several Sprites close to any active Shrine.

  • Sprite Shrines have several potential spawn points across the island, though they won’t appear in every marked location in each match. To increase the chances of finding either a Dash or Superman Sprite, consider checking the following spots:

    • Southwest of Supernova Academy
    • North of Flooded Frogs
    • Just northeast of Lonewolf Lair
    • Near the bridge northeast of Shiny Shafts
    • East of Brutal Boxcars
    • On the small island northwest of Demon’s Domain

How To Use Dash & Superman Sprites In Fortnite

While Sprites have been a key feature throughout Chapter 6, the additions in Season 3 shake things up in a big way. Both the Dash Sprite and the Superman Sprite introduce unique mechanics that stand out.

The Dash Sprite can be activated by throwing it with the fire button, creating a zone that grants the player three aerial dashes. These dashes are triggered by pressing the jump button midair, propelling the player in the direction of their current movement input. The Dash Sprite can be thrown up to three times, with a two-second cooldown between uses.

On the other hand, the Superman Sprite functions more like a weapon. Pressing the fire button unleashes laser vision, dealing continuous tick damage to enemies and structures. It comes with 75 total ammo, with a depletion bar displayed on the reticle. When this bar empties, the Superman Sprite enters an 8-second cooldown. Once all the ammo is used, the Superman Sprite becomes unusable, meaning players will need to find a new one to use the laser vision again.

That’s not all, as players can also take either Sprite to a Sprite Shrine for a shot at some valuable loot. Only one Sprite can be offered per Shrine, and players will need to interact with the Shrine while the Sprite is in their inventory to activate the reward. The loot received depends on which Sprite is offered:

  • Dash Sprite: Grants Shockwave Grenades, a weapon, a Combat Acrobat Boon, and a Dash Sprite in return.
  • Superman Sprite: Grants a consumable, a weapon, a Heightened Senses Boon, and a Superman Sprite.
