Summary

  • A Fortnite and Devil May Cry collab may happen soon, per leaks.
  • Iconic Devil May Cry characters like Dante and Vergil could appear as possible skins. However, nothing is confirmed.

Leakers are stating that Fortnite's collaboration with Devil May Cry may be due soon. Although there are many different Fortnite leaks, some of them don't always follow through at the expected time. A collaboration between Fortnite and the Devil May Cry series has been wanted by players after years of speculation. However, it may be right around the corner, according to various sources.

Along with Hatsune Miku's expected drop, many Fortnite leaks loom on the horizon. While there are many outlandish suggestions that chart during Fortnite character surveys, a likelier option could be the game returning to old partnerships. Fortnite has collaborated with Capcom in the past, bringing in several Resident Evil characters to its roster, but some faithful Capcom fans would also appreciate the Devil May Cry franchise showing up.

Fortnite players are not happy about the game's newest selection of skins, claiming Epic Games is being "greedy" and should release them for free.

Fortnite source ShiinaBR shared information from leakers Loolo_WRLD and Wensoing on Twitter suggesting that Devil May Cry and Fortnite's long-rumored collaboration will happen soon. Wensoing notes that XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker originally mentioned this rumor in 2023, but that since then, many insiders have started to more consistently corroborate the information, affirming that the time for the reveal may be approaching.

Devil May Cry's Time in Fortnite May Be Coming

Because there is so much already rumored to be coming to Fortnite in the upcoming weeks, some people are speculating that if this information is correct, the Devil May Cry collab would likely happen after Chapter 6 Season 1. Some fans have questioned the validity of the leaks because it's taken so long for them to be confirmed again by others, but people have noted Nick Baker's previous track record for leaks, crediting him with getting the Doom and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaborations with Fortnite correct. Others are concerned about what characters could show up in the collaboration.

Fortnite may opt to choose Dante and Vergil since they're typically considered the most iconic characters in the Devil May Cry series, but as shown with the recent Cyberpunk 2077 collab, there's a possibility the developers pick differently. Many Fortnite and Cyberpunk fans did not anticipate Female V's appearance, but Fortnite tends to offer a male and female option when possible in its crossovers, and the previous Capcom collaborations with the game seem to support this idea. That could mean that Lady, Trish, or even Nico could show up as playable Fortnite skins when the time comes. Alternative options for popular characters include Devil May Cry 4' s Nero and Devil May Cry 5's V. Now that this leak has resurfaced, many expect to see more information soon.
