Summary

  • Fortnite now has five Earth Sprites, making it easier to find them for powerful items.
  • Earth Sprites guarantee Legendary items and are essential for a new Chapter 6 Season 1 Quest.
  • Magic Mosses and Flooded Frogs area is prime for finding Earth Sprites in Fortnite.

A new Fortnite update increases the number of Earth Sprites available in the game to five, which makes it easier to find them. Earth Sprites were released as part of the Chapter 6 Season 1 Update in Fortnite, and they have quickly become one of the most sought aspects considering they can help players get really powerful weapons very early on in the game.

After an eventful collaboration with Marvel, the sixth Chapter of Fortnite introduces a Japanese theme for fans. The updates add an all-new map featuring a plethora of exciting POIs, alongside new weapons, mythics, and much more. While fans are always eager to try out the new features in the update, one feature has remained quite elusive. Thankfully, that is no longer the case.

In a new tweet, Fortnite reveals that it is increasing the number of Earth Sprites available in the game. Since their release, only two Earth Sprites have been spawning on the map. These two Earth Sprites appear at a random location in Fortnite, out of a total of twenty-two possible spawn points. However, after the new update, five Earth Sprites will be spawning on the map.

What Are Earth Sprites Used For in Fortnite?

Earth Sprites are creatures just like Water and Air Sprites, but they serve a different use. While Water and Air Sprites in Fortnite are used to get certain perks in the game and are easily found, Earth Sprites are much harder to find due to their low spawn rate. Players can interact with Earth Sprites and get extremely powerful items in return. What makes them so powerful is that it is a guaranteed way of getting Legendary items, which typically take a lot of searching and luck to acquire.

Fortnite fans are quite elated to see the change, as many noted that they were unable to encounter an Earth Sprite despite playing the new season since its launch. What makes things even worse is the fact that Earth Sprites are also required to complete one of the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Quests. After this change, players should likely be able to complete the quest with much more ease, since it drastically increases the odds of finding them in the game. In fact, some fans added that they are easily able to spot them after the change. The Magic Mosses and Flooded Frogs area is regarded as the best area to find them, so players should definitely check them out to improve their chances.
