One of Fortnite's Kickstart quests requires players to get a Leadspitter 3000 and kill 8 bugs without reloading the weapon once. Considering the Leadspitter doesn't deal much damage, and the weapon itself is rather clunky and heavy to use, some players might struggle with this quest. So that you can complete this Kickstart quest in Fortnite and figure out how to easily use the Leadspitter 3000, we've listed all you need to know about the quest below so that you can start Chapter 6 Season 4 with plenty of XP.

How to Eliminate Bugs with the Leadspitter 3000 Without Reloading

Players are required to eliminate 8 bugs with the Leadspitter 3000, and it's not going to be easy, unless players have a generous lobby. Most hostile players will be far quicker than the shooting output and limited range of the Leadspitter 3000, so to begin, it's best to head somewhere reliable. Once players have acquired a Leadspitter 3000 from any O.X.R. Chest or Drop Pod, they should focus on heading to a heavily infested bug hive in one of these locations:

  • The Hive
  • Demon's Debris
  • Ranger's Ruin

At these locations, players will find an abundance of bugs, but hold your fire on them. Approach the bugs to turn them hostile, and then once you have amassed a small army of at least 4 of them, shoot them all with the Leadspitter 3000. From here, don't reload or switch weapons, but simply run around the infested area and look for more hive nests. If no bugs are spawning, aggravate them further by opening hive chests and destroying (with your pickaxe) hive structures. Focus your bullets on Swarmers, the smaller enemies, rather than the large Bombers, as they will eat at your ammo before you can kill 8 of them.
