The original Zadie skin was released back in 2020, and it was a hit among fans almost immediately, quickly becoming one of the most commonly spotted skins in Fortnite at the time. Later on, Epic Games released a reskin of Zadie as part of the Agency Renegage Pack. This variant was called Shady Zadie and a pearlescent variant of Zadie with blue and white styles.
Fortnite: All Cosmetics in the Season 8 Music Pass
Here's every cosmetic item and style included in the latest Fortnite Festival Music Pass.
For years, these were the only two available Zadie skins in Fortnite, but the number doubled this month with the release of Vanguard Zadie and Elite Zadie. While players can get the Vanguard Zadie by completing quests, they have to go further and beyond to acquire Elite Zadie - here's how it works.
Updated on May 13, 2025, by Ashely Claudino: Elite Zadie is once again obtainable through a limited-time tournament, so gamers have an additional chance to get this skin free of charge before it is sold in the Item Shop.
How to Get Elite Zadie in Fortnite
The Vanguard Zadie skin can be obtained simply by earning account levels, so it's within reach for everyone who plays Fortnite regularly. Elite Zadie, on the other hand, isn't as easily accessible, at least for now.
To get Elite Zadie in Fortnite, players must enter the Elite Zadie Reload Cups, which are live until June 1, 2025. Those who are among the top placed in their region will receive the Elite Zadie skin as a reward. Additionally, everyone who scores 50 points during the tournament will receive the free Ranker's Death Star umbrella glider in Fortnite
Elite Zadie Cup Rules and Schedule
The Elite Zadie Reload Cup is live until June 1. Players can join the competition on most days until then, but their exact time depends on their region.
Additionally, even though the Elite Zadie Cup is always set in Fortnite Reload, the playlist will differ depending on the date. Some days, Epic Games will host a solo tournament, but it will also be available for duos, trios, and squads. Fans need to visit the Compete tab in-game or on the official website and check out when each type of tournament will take place in their region.
Here is the number of teams that will receive the Elite Zadie skin in each region and depending on the type of match that they play:

Will Elite Zadie Be Available At a Later Time?
Fortnite cosmetics are no longer exclusive and can become available in the Item Shop at a later date. This means that Elite Zadie is not exclusive to players who obtain her in the tournament.
