Fortnite could have another crossover on the way, as a new leak suggests a new collaboration with F1 could arrive as soon as this month. Since the beginning of November, Fortnite has been focused on its massive crossover with The Simpsons, but as is customary for the massively popular battle royale title, another partnership might be waiting just around the corner.
For eight years, Fortnite has maintained its presence as one of gaming's biggest hits, and high-profile crossovers are partially to thank for such success. With the game's first-ever team-up being with Marvel, Fortnite started off strong, and since then, each crossover has kept players interested while also drawing in fresh ones. The Simpsons crossover has been a huge hit, and while it's still going strong, racing fans may get a fun treat this month as well.
Fortnite Leaks Harry Potter Collab for Chapter 7
A newly surfaced leak indicates that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter may soon arrive in Fortnite, specifically, its upcoming Chapter 7.
F1 Could Be Coming to Fortnite Later This Month
Recently, the official Fortnite account replied to F1 on Instagram, teasing that a collab could be coming soon. With the tease making the rounds on social media, leakers like HYPEX even claim it could arrive this month. Of course, leaks are far from actual confirmation, but HYPEX has a consistently strong track record of revealing Fortnite news early. While they confidently stated that F1 would be coming to Fortnite sometime this month, there is currently no estimated date for when such a collaboration could drop.
F1 racing is an incredibly popular sport all around the world, but it has become even more prevalent in pop culture over recent years. This past summer, F1 racing even got its very own movie starring Brad Pitt, and Netflix's documentary series Formula 1: Drive to Survive premiered its seventh season back in March. Fortnite's larger crossovers usually become intertwined within the main battle royale map, but it's unclear exactly what scale this F1 partnership could be. Whether it's a special limited-time mode, skins, or the addition of F1 cars and tracks to the currently Simpsons-ified map remains to be seen.
Right now, all Fortnite fans can do is wait and see if F1 does indeed arrive this month. Even for those who aren't familiar with F1, such a crossover would further expand the sport's reach and potentially draw in fresh fans. The Simpsons crossover has been huge, but adding F1 to the mix would be more cause for celebration. That may not be the only collaboration on the way, either. There are also leaks that Fortnite is set to get a Warner Bros. Game mode in December, and if that's the case, the battle royale could end the year on an even higher note.
