After the Battle of Anchorage in Fallout, it seemed that the T-60 Power Armor could be found pretty much anywhere, to the point where it's now ended up in Fortnite. The first Fortnite x Fallout collab sees the iconic T-60 Power Armor join the famed Battle Royale roster as part of the Gaming Legends set, and players can get their hands on this Power Armor to look good and feel powerful, all thanks to the Brotherhood of Steel.
Comparing Every Fallout Protagonist
Not all Fallout heroes come from vaults. Here's how the heroes of each of the Fallout games compare and contrast to each other.
Fans of the Fallout games and Amazon Prime's Fallout show are going to love the addition of the T-60 Power Armor, an iconic set in its own right that comes with a few styles, and a few cosmetics bundled with references to the Fallout universe. Yet, how exactly can one acquire this power armor? Also, don't worry, as this version of the T-60 doesn't have the iconic flaw in its chest plate.
How To Get Power Armor in Fortnite
Luckily for those who didn't want to battle an indestructible suit of armor powered by a Fusion Core, the T-60 Power Armor is an outfit in Fortnite, and not an item that players can find in the Battle Royale mode. In order to get the T-60 Power Armor, players will need to purchase the Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass and reach Level 54. At Level 54, purchase all items on Page 9 of 14. This will cost players 26 Battle Stars, and then, they can spend an additional 9 Battle Stars to unlock the T-60 Power Armor.
Once acquired this set is for players to keep, so they can run around the wasteland and beyond looking rather dashing in their rusting armor. Just remember, this armor won't grant any advantage over other players unless players are intimidated by the mean look of a soldier for the Brotherhood of Steel.

As part of the Fallout set, the T-60 Power Armor comes in the design typically seen with its appearance. It's not adorned with any famed faction, despite being possessed and claimed by the Brotherhood of Steel as used by their Knights, Paladins, and Sentinels. The T-60 Power Armor is one of Bethesda's first collabs with Fortnite, and hopefully, it continues a trend, as seeing the T-60 in Fortnite's art style must make plenty of players want to see the famed NCR Ranger outfit from Fallout: New Vegas make an appearance.

Another style to unlock for the Power Armor, the Hot Rod variant of the T-69 shows off some impressively dashing reds, with flames adorned to the wrists and chest plate. It's a more vibrant look for the power armor, and whilst cool, it's definitely not something the Brotherhood of Steel would approve of unless the player intends to be a raider.

Working in true collab fashion, the Black Knight T-60 brings the iconic Black Knight from Fortnite into the Fallout world, as this style is a T-60 model that comes in a sharp black paint, with a red bandanna tied to the right arm, and glowing red eyes on the visor to display a real mean streak in whoever wears this outfit. However, to get it, players will need to reach Level 120 in the Battle Pass.

The Brotherhood of Steel set comes with a unique piece of artwork to use as a loading screen thanks to the talent of Tavis Coburn. The art definitely respects Fallout by featuring a proud propaganda poster of a Brotherhood of Steel Knight laying waste to enemies of the brotherhood, along with their famed "Ad Victoriam" war shout.

Featuring a mix of bronzes and greys, the Pip Bling wrap does a great job of conveying the colors of Fallout, bringing them to the weaponry of players. Whilst the colors are a pleasing aesthetic to Fallout fans, the addition of Vault Boy attached to a Pip-Boy module tallying players' kills with their weapons makes it even better.

One of the stranger choices for a pickaxe from Fallout, players can get their hands on the blade of an Assaultron, which has been decommissioned by the Brotherhood of Steel to serve a new use outside of technology, which involves hitting things for materials.

It's a shame that the glider for the Fallout set isn't the iconic Vertibird, the VTOL aircraft used by the Brotherhood of Steel. Instead, players have a new creation, a glider created for the United States military, by the same company that produced power armor and the dreaded FEV research that plagued the wasteland with Super Mutants. Luckily, this glider isn't going to expose players to FEV.
