Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 has been out for quite a while now, and with it came a massive wave of content for fans to enjoy. From a wide range of unique locations like The Hive and the O.X.R. HQ, to unique items like the Bug Blaster and the Leadspitter 3000, there have been a whole lot of additions to try out.

Chapter 6 Season 4 officially ends on November 1, but before then, players can look forward to a massive annual event to celebrate the spooky holiday and potentially close out Season 4 with a bang. This event is none other than Fortnitemares, one of the biggest events of the year. With that being said, here are just some of the things we want to see in Fortnitemares 2025.

New Halloween-Themed Items & Unvaults

Bring Back the Witch Broom & Pumpkin Launcher, Along with New Items

Kickstarting this list is the need for Halloween-themed items in the Fortnite loot pool, with a great deal of unvaults being the perfect start. It's pretty much a given that the Pumpkin Launcher will make its return for Fortnitemares 2025, along with Candy. However, other items that could definitely be a blast to wield again include the Chainsaw and the Witch Broom, the latter of which is already rumored to come back. Both items act as excellent forms of mobility, which could serve as solid replacements for items like the Shockwave Hammer currently in the Battle Royale loot pool.

While unvaults are definitely nice, there's also room for brand-new items never seen before, which Epic Games should definitely capitalize on to make this upcoming Fortnitemares one to remember. As of right now, a Mythic item tied to a potential Scream collaboration has been leaked to potentially be featured for the Halloween event, which could be a nice change of pace. However, pulling more inspiration from even more horror movie franchises, along with some original flair, would be great to see.

New Collaborations & Halloween Mashups

Fortnitemares would not be complete without a lineup of fresh Halloween cosmetics, and with 2024's rendition of the event featuring some excellent horror movie icons like Leatherface and Jigsaw, it may just be Epic Games’ time to step up their game even further by bringing even more pop culture characters into the spotlight. As of right now, a Scooby-Doo collaboration is rumored to arrive in time for Fortnitemares, along with the arrival of the infamous Jason Voorhees in the Fortnite Item Shop.

While well-known horror movie characters are definitely something players want to see, Epic should also go all out by bringing some original skins, along with remixing other Fortnite characters with a Halloween makeover. Last Fortnitemares featured excellent original skins, from Ultima Carver and Knightmare, to a remixed version of Lexa with the Lexa Hexbringer outfit. Seeing some creepy and alternate versions of existing characters could bring some fresh Halloween flair into the Item Shop, which is always good for celebrating the spooky season.

New Content Across Several Modes

Reload, Blitz, & LEGO Fortnite Should Also Receive Content for Fortnitemares

It's safe to say that Battle Royale will be receiving a good chunk of the content for Fortnitemares, and with Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 6 launching on October 3, players will be able to experience the Season 6 Fortnitemares all over again. Horde Rush will also potentially be coming back. However, that does leave out Fortnite's other popular modes, most notably Reload, Blitz, and LEGO Fortnite.

All of these major modes have their own core player base that would definitely like to see some Halloween-themed content. While this could be as small as bringing over Fortnitemares items included in Battle Royale to Reload and Blitz, along with bringing a sizable update to Fortnite's LEGO modes, map changes themed around Halloween would also be excellent to see. Who knows, maybe Blitz could also have several unique weeks centered around Fortnitemares, too.

New Bosses & Medallions For Battle Royale

Fortnitemares is a Great Opportunity to Bring Back Medallions & Unique Bosses

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 went all out by bringing a unique boss fight in the form of the Queens, along with including some of the most fun and unique Medallions of the chapter. However, with all the Medallions being vaulted in Battle Royale following a recent update, and the boss fight with the Queens being the same no matter which boss players head to, it may be time to bring some new bosses and Medallions into the mix.

Fortnitemares is the perfect opportunity to bring in some unique bosses and, perhaps, even some new Medallions to try out. Bosses have been a recurring feature in Fortnitemares for a while now, but Medallions have not. Throw in some cool Halloween icons like Ghost Face and Jason Voorhees, give each one a killer Medallion and Mythic weapon, and fans will have a unique new challenge to grind for in their Battle Royale matches.

Unique Fortnitemares Quests & a Free Skin

Fun Quests, Cosmetics Rewards, & Even a Free Skin Could Be a Game Changer

One thing that fans of the annual Fortnitemares Event in Fortnite can look forward to is the debut of unique quests that, upon completion, yield some pretty neat rewards. From creepy Back Blings to colorful Pickaxes, there has been a long list of free rewards throughout past spooky seasons of Fortnite. However, one thing that is practically unheard of for Fortnitemares is a free skin.

Fans looking for unique cosmetics for Fortnitemares can look forward to the Chapter 1 Season 6 OG Pass and, without a doubt, a ton of Item Shop skins. However, as far as Fortnitemares rewards go, including a free skin through the Fortnitemares quests, followed by making those quests fun to complete, could provide a unique grind during the event's limited runtime.

New POIs For Battle Royale & Other Modes

Battle Royale Could Use Some New POIs

The center of the Battle Royale map saw a major overhaul with Chapter 6 Season 4's launch, with the arrival of bug-infested POIs like The Hive, Swarmy Stash, and Ranger's Ruin. However, with Fortnitemares coming up, a Halloween makeover filled with new POIs could add some unique flair, especially to the outskirts of the Battle Royale map. Locations like the First Order Base and Outpost Enclave have since grown stale, making them the perfect spots to swap out for potential new POIs.

Battle Royale is not the only mode that could benefit from new POIs, however. While Fortnite OG will inevitably go into Season 6 in October, with the most notable change being the floating island at Loot Lake, Reload, and even Blitz could also use unique POIs, even if it is just the return of locations from past events. This would bring in fresh content, regardless of what mode players dive into.
