Fortnite's Fortnitemares event is here, and with it, a slew of exciting new characters to hit the island. Front and center this Fortnitemares season is none other than Scooby-Doo and the gang. Part of the Fortnitemares quests involve some requests from the Scooby gang, including Daphne, who can be found studying a pinboard at the new Viney Shafts location.

For her quest, Daphne has lost her luggage, and she needs an intrepid sleuth to track it down. That's where you come in. The only issue is that the quest is timed, so you'll want to move fast to find out what happened. This guide details where to find Daphne—and where to find her lost luggage for some quick and easy XP.

Where is Daphne Located in Fortnite?

Daphne can be found at Viney Shafts (the former Shiny Shafts location on the western part of the island). She is located just above the first 'S' in 'Shafts' on the map. Look for the three dots on your minimap when you're landing. She's standing in front of a pinboard, trying to piece together various clues. Speak with Daphne and select the "Need help?" Dialogue option. She will petition you to help her find her stolen luggage.

This mission is on a four-minute timer, so you'll want to get moving ASAP.

Where to Find Daphne's Lost Luggage

Fortunately, the perpetrator isn't too far from Daphne's location, though it'll take a short trek. Avoid or eliminate other players in your path and head southwest from Daphne's location, away from Viney Shafts. You're looking for a cliff overlooking Viney Shafts, located north of Outlaw Oasis on the map (shown below).

Up on top of the cliff, you'll come across the new Mothman character, along with a suspicious pile of luggage near his RV and campsite.

Interrogate the Thief

Approaching the camp will automatically complete the 'Find Daphne's Luggage' quest step. All that's left is to interrogate the thief! Interact with Mothman and select the 'Interrogate' option. He will explain that, for once, he wanted to solve a mystery, rather than simply being the mystery. After speaking with Mothman, the quest will complete, earning you 10,000 XP for helping Daphne.

You do not need to return to Daphne in order to complete the quest; it will be completed after speaking with Mothman.

With this quest complete, you're one step closer to collecting all of the rewards for this year's Fortnitemares event.
