Fortnite's Fortnitemares Event has taken players on a wild ride with the introduction of creepy points of interest and seriously cool items like the Last Call and the Witch Broom. Pair this with a roster of awesome Fortnitemares skins and crossovers, and many may regard this year’s event as the best one yet.

As Fortnitemares approaches its final week, many players may be looking to boost their XP earnings to finish off the Chapter 6 Season 4 Battle Pass. For those still progressing through the Fortnitemares quests, you’re in luck, as more quests have been added, including one that tasks players with finding and defeating Jason. Here is where to find him and how to take him down for some extra XP.

Where To Find & Defeat Jason in Fortnite

Players will be tasked with finding and defeating Jason as part of the Fortnitemares questline, rewarding players with 10,000 XP. However, when previewing his quest, his location is not marked on the map, making it hard to determine where to land. Despite this, Jason can always be found at Creepy Camps right at the start of the game, so be sure to drop by there as soon as you can.

Once you arrive at Creepy Camps, Jason’s location will be marked on the map with a skull icon, allowing you to track him at all times. Jason is definitely one of the easier bosses to take on in Fortnitemares, as he moves very slowly and only uses melee attacks when he gets close to a player. However, he boasts a lot of health and can teleport to another location, though he will always remain pretty close to Creepy Camps.

The fastest way to take him out is to keep your distance and land consistent headshots. Jason will walk towards the player when provoked, so back up and send a barrage of bullets his way. Weapons like the Pumpkin Launcher can also deal massive damage, so be sure to use them if you want to take Jason down quickly.

Once Jason is defeated, players will be awarded 10,000 XP if they have not done so already to complete the 'defeat Jason' Fortnitemares quest. However, Jason also drops some good loot for players to get a hold of if they want to revisit and defeat Jason in future runs. These are as follows:
