Fortnite Reload has finally received its next map in the form of the Chapter 2-style Slurp Rush island, bringing back nostalgic POIs like Steamy Stacks and Slurp Swamp—this time built for fast-paced Reload action rather than traditional Battle Royale. Players dropping in can expect high-octane gameplay and, to celebrate the debut of Slurp Rush, the chance to snag some awesome rewards.

While much of the spotlight is on the free Vanguard Zadie skin and the Twitch Drops tied to Slurp Rush’s launch, players can also grab a free reward through Discord. In classic fashion, Fortnite has partnered with Discord once again, giving users the opportunity to unlock the Slurp Barrel Avatar Decoration for free.

How To Accept The Fortnite Reload Discord Quest

The first step to unlocking the free Slurp Barrel Avatar Decoration on Discord is to accept the Fortnite Reload Discord Quest. Just like previous Discord Quests, players can do this by heading to the Discover Tab on the left sidebar or by navigating to User Settings > Gift Inventory > View Quests. From there, simply follow these steps:

Locate the Fortnite Reload Quest and click "Accept Quest."
Choose the platform to complete the quest on.

Once accepted, the Fortnite Reload Quest will be ready to go. Keep in mind, Discord Quests can only be accepted on Console and Desktop devices, with mobile users currently unable to access or complete quests for rewards.

How To Get The Free Slurp Barrel Discord Avatar

Upon accepting the Fortnite Reload Quest, players will be tasked with playing Fortnite Reload for a total of 30 minutes while their Discord client is open, in order to earn the Slurp Barrel Avatar Decoration on Discord for free. Although the quest specifically mentions Fortnite Reload, any Fortnite experience will count toward completion.

In fact, players can technically complete this quest without actively playing the game at all, as simply having both Fortnite and Discord open for 30 minutes is enough to fulfill the requirement. This gives players the freedom to complete the quest however they prefer.

Once Fortnite has been open for at least 30 minutes after accepting the Fortnite Reload Quest, players can claim the Slurp Barrel Avatar Decoration by heading back to the quest in Discord and selecting the 'Claim Reward' option. From there, players can also add it to their Discord profile immediately by clicking 'Use Now'.

Players have until April 21 to accept the Fortnite Reload Discord quest to unlock the Slurp Barrel Avatar Decoration. Upon claiming, the Slurp Barrel Avatar Decoration will also only be available for free for two months, and will move over to the Discord Shop for those who wish to unlock it permanently.
