How to Use the Hammerhead Choppa in Fortnite
The Hammerhead Choppa is an air vehicle in Fortnite that has a total of 1,620 durability before it's destroyed. This large vehicle can carry a total of 5 players, with 4 in the back that can use their weapons, and one in the driver's seat. The interesting gimmick of the Hammerhead Choppa is that the driver can switch seats to shoot with their allies, while the Hammerhead Choppa remains in a hover mode for around 15 seconds. This way, solo players can easily complete their quest to hit opponents beyond 50 meters while in the Hammerhead Choppa, as they do not need to be flying it to shoot from it.
Here's a list of the Hammerhead Choppa controls for console and PC:
- Move Up: R2/RT/Left-Click or X/A/Space
- Move Down: L2/LT/Right-Click
- Boost (Hold): Circle/B/Left Shift
- Switch Seat: R3/Left Ctrl
- Exit (Hold): Square/X/E
- Loudspeaker: D-Pad Down/B
The Hammerhead Choppa has plenty of durability to tank enemy fire, but the other problem lies in the fuel consumption. The Hammerhead Choppa consumes fuel with movement, and more if players use the Boost function. If the Hammerhead Choppa runs out of fuel mid-flight, it will crash to the ground and explode, so it's best to know when to abandon the vehicle or refuel at gas stations and vehicle pads found across Burd to Go, Outposts, and O.X.R. HQ.
