Hero Ranks have come to Fortnite thanks to this Super season debuting in Chapter 6 Season 3, and it's important that players know what Hero Ranks do and how they can increase them easily so that they can get the best possible loot for each match that they drop from the Battle Bus.
All Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Battle Pass Skins and Rewards
Fortnite Super brings forth exciting new superhero-themed skins for the Chapter 6 Season 3 Battle Pass, and here's a look at them all.
Hero Ranks are unique to every match, and only some players will be heroic enough to commit to the deeds necessary to increase their Rank from C all the way to S+, providing them with unique rewards and boasting of the greatest hero in Fortnite.
How to Increase Hero Rank in Fortnite
There are four ways to increase Hero Rank in Fortnite, and each of them will provide different levels of XP. Here are the heroic deeds that players can burden themselves with so that they can rise from a C Rank hero to an S+ hero:
- Knock & Eliminate players (75/100 XP)
- Survive storm phases (100 XP, +25 each phase after the first)
- Take a Sprite to a Shrine (250 XP)
- Destroy Scout Spire (250 XP)
- Eliminate Henchmen (25 XP)
- Eliminate Bosses (1,500 XP)
Eliminating players is the fastest way to increase Hero Rank in Fortnite, but also the riskiest. Eliminating Henchmen is easier, but doesn't provide great levels of XP. If players want S+ Rank in Battle Royale, players will need to eliminate at least 20 other players.
What Does Hero Rank Do in Fortnite?
Hero Ranks are unique per game, meaning every player will drop from the Battle Bus with a C-tier Hero Rank. Even if players reach the Max Hero Rank of S+, they will be reset once they return to the lobby, even after a Victory Royale. However, it's worth noting why it's useful to rise through the Hero Ranks every game, as every time you rank up, you will gain 100 Effective Health, increase the power of Boons, and unlock a Hero Cache that's full of exciting and powerful loot:
