Update 24.10 has added tons of fun content to Fortnite to celebrate the start of Spring. This is a tradition in the game once this time of the year rolls around. Players can now find eggs on the map, earn extra XP, and enjoy the temporary addition of the classic Egg Launcher projectile weapon. Among these many additions, Epic Games also added four new characters that provide their expertise when hired by the player or any of their teammates. This guide will show Fortnite players exactly where they can find these recently added NPCs on the map.
Scout, Heavy, Supply, and Medic Specialist Locations
As more game updates are released, the NPC count on the Chapter 4 Season 2 map will surely increase with time. Four brand-new NPCs have just been put into the game, and they can be found scattered around the Battle Royale map.

NPC Abilities
Some players will want to find and hire these NPCs in order to complete one of Week 3's quests, but they're actually worth hiring at any time, as long as the player has enough gold to do so.
The four specialists actually provide unique services once they've been hired - unlike other hireable characters. Each of these characters has mastered an important gameplay element, and they use it to their team's advantage. Here is what each specialist can bring to the table during a Battle Royale match:
- Supply Specialist - the Supply Specialist will occasionally leave ammunition, materials, and grenades on the floor in order to aid their team while they're exploring or during combat.
- Scout Specialist - the Scout Specialist carries a sniper and will use it against opponents. They will also check the surrounding area every 45 seconds and mark any enemies and chests nearby.
- Medic Specialist - the Medic Specialist will heal the player and make sure the player is always at 150 health or above it by throwing Chug Splash cans at them whenever they're in need.
- Heavy Specialist - the Heavy Specialist is immune to fire, and whenever an enemy is nearby, they will throw as many grenades as they can at them to take them down.
The four specialists all play very different roles, so they will each complement the player's gameplay in their own way.
Fortnite is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
