How to Get Iron Man's Flight Kit in Fortnite

Iron Man's Flight Kit is most commonly found in Stark Industry Chests, which are located at the various Stark Mobile Armory drop sites. They can be found at the following locations:

  1. The Other Windmill landmark
  2. North of The Cemetery landmark
  3. North of Coastal Columns landmark
  4. Northwest of the Dumpenhausen landmark
  5. East of Ship It! Station landmark
  6. Southwest of Mount Olympus

There are six Stark Industry Chests on the entire map, and since Battle Royale games tend to start with 90-100 players, gamers should expect to encounter many enemies when heading to these locations.

Iron Man's Flight Kit is also guaranteed from looting Iron Man's Stark Mobile Armory. Like the Stark Industry Chests, the Stark Mobile Armories can be accessed at the same drop locations, but are not available right away. Instead, players will have to wait till they drop onto the map throughout the match. Once they appear, they will be marked on the map for players to head to. These Stark Mobile Armories can only be looted once, so gamers should be sure to get there immediately.

Make sure to head specifically to the Iron Man-themed Stark Mobile Armory, as these are the ones that guarantee both Iron Man's Flight Kit and Iron Man's Combat Kit. The War Machine Mobile Armory will grant War Machine's items instead.

How to Use Iron Man's Flight Kit in Fortnite

Iron Man's Flight Kit is primarily a mobility item that allows players to navigate the map in style. Unlike War Machine's Hover Jets, players need to have the Iron Man's Flight Kit equipped before using it. To activate the Iron Man's Flight Kit, press the Fire button (Left Click/RT/R2). Once airborne, players can then use the following controls:

  • Ram Attack (Left Click/RT/R2)
  • Unibeam (Right Click/LT/L2)
  • Ascend (Space/A/X)
  • Descend (Left Ctrl/RS/R3)
  • Dodge Left (Q/X/Square)
  • Dodge Right (R/B/Circle)

Iron Man's Flight Kit has limited fuel, and once depleted - or if players cancel mid-flight by switching items - it will enter a 20-second cooldown.

Just like the Flight Kit, Iron Man's Combat Kit can often be found in Stark Industries Chests at Stark Mobile Armory drop locations or guaranteed from looting the Stark Mobile Armory itself. Players can also acquire Iron Man's Combat Kit from regular and Rare Chests, though the chances are fairly low.

Unlike the Flight Kit, players can also purchase Iron Man's Combat Kit from Iron Man himself for 600 Gold Bars. Iron Man can be found at the Stark Mobile Armory drop site just northeast of Grim Gate, so expect a lot of company when heading there. Much like Captain America's Shield, sold by Captain Jones, Iron Man only carries one Combat Kit in stock, so grab it quickly.

Iron Man's Combat Kit is another one of Fortnite's powerful Mythic offensive items. Once equipped, players can utilize two attacks: the Repulsors and the Unibeam, both capable of dealing immense damage. Here's a quick breakdown of the controls for Iron Man's Combat Kit:

  • Fire Repulsors (Left Click/RT/R2) - Fire a guided ranged attack that deals 30 damage per hit.
  • Unibeam (Right Click/LT/L2) - Charge and fire a devastating laser that deals 90 damage per hit. It enters a 20-second cooldown after each use.
