Fortnite has collaborated with dozens of franchises over the years. This season, fans are particularly about the Mortal Kombat collab. They can get their favorite characters as skins in Fortnite, play with themed weapons, and even visit locations from the MK games.
Fortnite: Cryomancer's Resolve Quests Guide (Mortal Kombat Quests)
This guide shows players how to quickly complete the Mortal Kombat Quests in Fortnite.
The Dead Pool is one of the Mortal Kombat locations added to Fortnite in update v34.21. Since it's a landmark rather than a named location, it won't be marked on players' maps, making it much harder for them to find it unless they stumble upon it. This guide will show players the way to The Dead Pool so they can experience it for themselves.
The Dead Pool Location in Fortnite
Players must first visit Masked Meadows in order to get to The Deadpool. If they've been here this season or the previous one, they will know that underneath Masked Meadows is where Daigo's had his workshop. At the start of Chapter 6 Season 2, it was connected to a passageway that led to the bank. However, following the Mortal Kombat update, that is no longer the case. It has been blocked off because The Dead Pool is now located on the other side.
To reach The Dead Pool in Fortnite, players must take the ascender that stands near a hole in the ground by the outer eastern wall of the Masked Meadows bank building.
Once they reach the ground down below, they need to follow the pathway, which will seemingly lead to a dead end. However, they will notice that the concrete wall is actually a hidden door. If gamers open it, they will find themselves in The Dead Pool landmark. Here is a video demonstrating the path leading to The Dead Pool in Fortnite:
While the water in The Dead Pool may look tempting, it can be lethal. If players step on it, it will take some health from them.
How to Collect Weapons in The Dead Pool
As part of the second set of Mortal Kombat Quests in Fortnite, players will have to collect weapons in The Dead Pool landmark. There aren't many weapons down there, so players will have to make sure they get there at the start of a match.
On the platform in the center of the pool, there are two guaranteed Kombat Kit spawns. However, they do not count towards the quest. There are two chests in The Dead Pool, on opposites sides of the room. Players must open them and collect the loot inside.
