When Epic Games announced the Dancin' Domino emote, they revealed the unreleased Comet skin, and this naturally excited fans, especially given the recent Item Shop dry spell. It has now been revealed when this skin will become available, and this guide will tell players everything they need to know.

Comet Skin Release Date

On January 29, the official Fortnite X account posted a video of the Comet skin using the newly added Dancin' Domino emote, featuring dance moves by Alara Koc and music from Jessie J. While some focused on the song and the dance, others were smitten by the Comet skin and were eager to learn more about its release.

Initially, fans believed that Comet would release alongside the emote or a couple of days after but that was not the case.

The Birds of a Feather bundle became available in Fortnite on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Fortnite promoted their release with a post on X. A fan immediately replied that they wanted Comet, and Fortnite replied with the skin's release date. On top of this information, leaks suggest that this cosmetic set will become available in the Item Shop, so players can expect the Comet skin to be released in Fortnite on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 7 PM ET.

How to Get Comet

Comet will be released in the Item Shop as part of the featured or daily section, so players will have to buy it with V-Bucks. Leaks indicate that this skin will be a Rare rarity cosmetic, which means it'll cost 1,200 V-Bucks.

Just like most Fortnite skins, it includes a detailed LEGO variant. On top of this, gamers will also be able to separately acquire the Rip Wreck harvesting tool and the Comet's Glow wrap. Alternatively, fans who want to own the entire set can purchase the Neutron bundle. The bundle includes the skin as well as the other two items at a discount, and players will also receive the exclusive Traveler-Class Tekpack back bling.
