Fortnite is hosting a Lantern Fest event, and it will be live until April 10 at 12 PM ET. The event started on March 10, but besides the release of the Anwar and Noorah skins, not much has happened since the second week of March. With the end of the event getting closer and closer, Epic Games released the Lantern Trials, which give players the opportunity to earn free cosmetic rewards by completing quests.
Fortnite: Lantern Fest Event Guide
Fortnite fans can now celebrate Lantern Fest in-game - here's everything gamers need to know.
Fans interested in knowing how to participate in the Lantern Trials and unlock the free Fortnite goodies have come to the right place, as this guide will show them exactly how they can do it.
How to Participate in the Lantern Trials
Even though it's only possible to complete the Lantern Trials in Fortnite, they're not a set of in-game quests. To participate in the Fortnite Lantern Trials, players must follow these steps:
- Visit the Lantern Trials official webpage
- Login with an Epic Games account
- Survive Storm Circles to earn badges
- Get badges to unlock cosmetic rewards
Gamers must make sure that they connect their Epic Games account with the Lantern Trials page, as this is the only way to keep track of players' game stats. Each time the player survives 5 Storm Circles in Fortnite, they'll receive a Lantern Trials badge.
Players can use the website to check their progress; this way, they can keep track of how many badges they've unlocked and how many they need to get in order to collect the final reward, The Nightblade pickaxe.
Lantern Trials Rewards
Players have the opportunity to receive three cosmetic rewards in Fortnite for free. They'll be able to unlock the Disco Baller spray and a badge simply by signing up for the Lantern Trials. However, the other two rewards, the harvesting tool and the item wrap, can only be unlocked if the player earns badges, which means they'll have to play Fortnite and survive a significant number of Storm Circles.
To get the Moonlit Peace wrap in Fortnite, gamers have to unlock six Lantern Trial badges, which means they'll have to survive 25 Storm Circles. Once they've done this, they must continue to survive the storm to get the next reward, as it requires a total of 11 Lantern Trial badges. To get The Nightblade pickaxe in Fortnite, players have to survive 50 Storm Circles.
The Fortnite Lantern Trials end on April 8, 2024, at 12 AM ET. After this, the trials and the rewards will become unavailable.
