To get Twitch Drops items in Fortnite, players must connect their Twitch account to their Epic Games account, which can be done from either the Epic Games or the Twitch website. Then, they must enter the page of any streamer playing Fortnite and progress will start to count towards quest completion.
It can take a few days for the items to show up in the player's inventory, so if gamers don't see them away, they shouldn't worry too much.
