Fortnite is hosting a Metallica event during the month of June, which means players can enjoy the band's most-known songs as featured Jam Tracks in Fortnite Festival, purchase themed cosmetics, and participate in quests to unlock exclusive items. Players who would like to earn some XP for the Battle Pass and unlock freebies must complete Metallica Quests.
Fortnite: Raiding The Rig Quests Guide
Complete all Raiding the Rig Quests to boost your season XP in Fortnite.
This guide will tell players everything they need to know about the Metallica Quests in Fortnite, including how to complete them and how to unlock every free cosmetic item.
Metallica Quests
Fortnite Metallica Quests are divided into two sections: Encore Session Quests and standard Metallica Quests.
Encore Session Quests
The Encore Session Quests require players to jam near a Jam Statue for 5 seconds in order to start the Encore Session. Jam Statues can be found at The Underworld, Lavish Lair, Pleasant Piazza, Dam Bridge, Mount Olympus, Megalo Depot, and Peabois HQ. Then, they must collect Metallica Music Notes to progress further and complete the poster.
To collect more Metallica Music Notes in Fortnite, players must search chest containers or eliminate enemies. As gamers get more Notes, they'll gradually reveal the Metallica Rises loading screen.
Metallica Quests
Fortnite will progressively release Metallica Quests for players to complete in the Battle Royale game mode. Gamers have until July 2 at 9 AM ET to finish as many quests as possible before they're no longer available. Here are the first set of Metallica Quests in Fortnite:
|
Quests |
How to complete |
|---|---|
|
Gamers can spray Metallica concert images at Restored Reels, Sandy Steppes, and Reckless Railways. Once players get to the spray location, which will appear on the screen when they enter the named locations, the Lightning Star spray will appear on screen right away. |
|
The floating Metallica island has come to replace the regular Loot Island, which will spawn on the map once the fourth Storm Circle forms. Gamers can head up there by taking the ascenders or the rifts underneath the island. |
|
Gamers can find the Ride the Lightning Guitar by visiting guaranteed spawn locations, claiming the Metallica Loot Island, or searching chest containers. Once they've obtained it, they must hit an opponent or a vehicle a total of 21 times to complete the quest's final stages. |
Visit the Metallica Quests page every day at 9 AM ET to check for more quests.
Metallica Quest Rewards
Players will get 10,000 XP for most Metallica Quests in Fortnite, but that's not all. For completing the "Spray Metallica concert images at different locations" quest, gamers will receive an exclusive Metallica Lightning Star spray.
On top of this, fans can also the Metallica Quest Bonus Goals and unlock an emote as well as a loading screen. Gamers who complete 20 Metallica Quests will receive the Paradise Riffs emote, and those who complete the poster by collecting enough Metallica Notes will unlock the Metallica Rises loading screen.
