Who Is Solid Snake?

Solid Snake is arguably one of the most popular and iconic characters in the stealth genre of video games. His presence resonates deeply in the heart of the Metal Gear franchise, alongside the equally significant Big Boss. Despite the greater number of games players get to play as Big Boss, which implies his prominence as the series' main protagonist, it is Solid Snake's character development and narrative arc that sets him apart.

Not often would one see a pivotal character like Big Boss being eclipsed, but Solid Snake's selfless nature has helped him earn a similar stature as the likes of Geralt, Kratos, Master Chief, and others.

When Is Solid Snake Coming To Fortnite?

While leaks had suggested that Solid Snake could be available in Fortnite from the start, Epic Games has put Solid Snake as one of the bonus rewards. This means that Solid Snake cannot be unlocked by directly leveling up the Battle Pass, and players will need to wait until a specific day to be able to unlock it. Precisely, it can be unlocked only 51 days from the start of the Battle Pass, which happens to be January 23rd, 2023. The Solid Snake has finally been released after a long wait, and fans can now acquire it directly in the game.

How To Get Solid Snake Skin

Just like Peter Griffin, Solid Snake is a part of Chapter 5, Season 1's Battle Pass. However, since Solid Snake is only a part of Bonus Rewards, players will need to complete a series of quests. Here are all the quests players need to complete to get the entire Solid Snake skin alongside a few more exciting items.

Hide in a Cardboard Box for 10 seconds (Lying in Wait Loading Screen)
Deal 250 damage to opponents within 10 meters (Stun Knife Pickaxe)
Deal 50 damage with explosives (Solid Profile Spray)
Deal 500 damage to opponents with assault rifles (! Emote)
