Fortnite's Festival game mode has quickly become a fan-favorite rhythm game for players looking for a break from the typical run-and-gun action of the Battle Royale. Thanks to the Festival Pass, even more players are diving into the mode to earn rewards in exchange for Festival Points.
The Unwritten Rules of Fortnite Festival Explained
New players to the rhythm game genre should follow these unspoken rules to succeed in the new Rock Band-inspired Fortnite Festival mode.
The Fortnite Festival Pass features rewards like Guitars, Jam Tracks, Loading Screens, and Keytars for players to unlock. While similar to the Battle Pass, the Festival Pass is separate and exclusive to the Fortnite Festival mode. So, it’s no surprise many players wonder whether they can gift it like the Battle Pass.
Can You Gift the Fortnite Festival Pass?
No, you can’t. Unfortunately, players can’t gift the Fortnite Festival Pass as there’s no gifting option on the Festival's in-game tab. It’s unclear whether Fortnite will add the gifting option to the Festival Pass in the future, but we will update this article if they do.
Luckily, there’s a free Fortnite Festival Pass track available to all players in the Season 2 update, and it includes 11 unique rewards to unlock. These rewards are as follows:
- Festival Ready loading screen: 1,000 Festival Points
- 8-Bit Beat jam track: 2,000 Festival Points
- Pop Off aura: 3,000 Festival Points
- Strap Spin emote: 4,000 Festival Points
- Brightest Beat spray: 5,000 Festival Points
- Bloom jam track: 6,000 Festival Points
- Wicked Point bass: 7,000 Festival Points
- Backbeat Bow emote: 8,000 Festival Points
- Chain Break emoticon: 9,000 Festival Points

To earn the Festival Points required to complete the free Festival Pass, simply complete daily and weekly quests. Completing Festival Quests earns you Festival Points to push you along the Festival Pass. For instance, if you earn 1,000 Festival Points, you can unlock the Festival Ready Loading screen. The more points you earn, the more rewards you can unlock. You will need a total of 11,000 Festival Points to unlock the final reward in the standard track of the Festival Pass.
