Fortnite: Every Mythic Weapon, Ranked (Chapter 6 Season 2)
The best Mythic weapons in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 will help players prove that they are the ultimate Battle Royale champion.
The potential of the Tow Hook Cannon in Fortnite is great, but will it live up to it? Below, players can find just how to get the Tow Hook Cannon, as well as a list of its stats and how it plays when dealing with the other 99 Loopers that attempt to claim the Battle Royale crown.
How To Get The Tow Hook Cannon
Upon dropping from the Battle Bus, players are going to have to rely purely on luck, as the spawn of the Tow Hook Cannon is RNG-based, and can be acquired from Chests, Rare Chests, and as floor loot. As a Rare Item, the Tow Hook Cannon isn’t exactly a common discovery when looting chests, but players are just going to have to soldier on and hope that the next step they acquire some loot, a Tow Hook Cannon will be part of it. Chests are scattered all across the Battle Royale island, so whether players aim for a highly contested POI or a quiet spot in the woods, the chance is all the same.

The Tow Hook Cannon uses Heavy Bullets, to which players can carry a maximum of 50. Since the beginning of Chapter 5 Season 3 doesn’t use Heavy Bullets for Sniper Rifles, the Tow Hook Cannon is the next best thing, as it can shoot far, with practically no drop-off at all. The hitbox for the Tow Hook Cannon is also rather generous, allowing players to hit targets close or far regardless of whether it’s near the leg or the body. Players also will not have to worry about headshots, as there is no headshot multiplier, meaning players will always hit their opponents for 100 damage, despite the initial weapon’s release stats saying 105.
When using this tool as a weapon, players will knock back their foes a few meters, which makes it a great weapon for players fighting on cliffs, as one good shot and an opponent could be sent down to their doom. Another great use for the Tow Hook Cannon is when it comes to vehicles, as players can shoot the vehicle, with a lock-on assist, which allows them to cling to it.
Once attached to the vehicle, players are able to use their movement controls to drift left and right, as well as jump. Players cannot die from fall damage when attached to a car, and they are free to switch to other weapons. Attaching to cars is a great idea for players in a squad when the vehicle is only a two-seater, and it’s also great to try and sabotage and hijack enemy vehicles by attaching to the back and shooting at their vehicle to get it to explode.
