With the Holiday season quickly approaching, some Fortnite players might be feeling a tad generous to the point where they want to provide their friends with a Battle Royale-styled gift. Players can now gift the Fortnite Battle Pass to their friends, allowing them to send a gift with just a small set of steps.

Fortnite: How to Purchase Items Remotely

The Fortnite Item Shop is no longer limited to the in-game store, and now players can purchase their desired items remotely.

Not everyone can afford the Battle Pass, and it’s nice of Epic Games to allow those more fortunate to gift their friends with a Battle Pass for their very own, allowing them to unlock all the skins and the V-Bucks obtained from it.

The Battle Pass Gift will cost $8.49 (USD) and there is no way to purchase the Battle Pass Gift with V-Bucks.

How to Send the Fortnite Battle Pass as a Gift

In order to gift the Battle Pass in Fortnite, players must first be within the application itself, and then follow these steps:

  • Enter the Battle Pass tab found at the top of the screen
  • Select Gift the Battle Pass option on the right side of the screen (Triangle/Y)
  • From your friends list, select a recipient (players can only gift 5 people a day)
  • Follow the instructions for the payment details required for your console/PC.

Gifts are non-refundable in Fortnite.

If players have purchased the Battle Pass as a gift to someone and the recipient hasn’t received it, click this link for help from Epic Games: My friend didn't receive the Battle Pass Gift I sent.
