There are several places where players can hide in Fortnite and catch their opponents off-guard. Here is how to easily hit an opponent after jumping out of a hiding place.

How to Easily Hit an Opponent After Jumping Out of a Hiding Place

There are two things that count as hiding places in Fortnite, and they are noted from the Hide prompt that appears when hovering over them:

Port-A-Potties
Dumpsters

Players will want to have their gun at the ready, as they will need to act fast from the moment they leave their hiding spot, since they have 30 seconds to deal damage to players. The easiest way to get this done is simply through patience. Players can use the Visual Audio Settings that will aid them in knowing when a player is getting close.

Alternatively, the best way to finish this quest is to land somewhere populated with enemies, like the Nitrodrome, straight from the Battle Bus. Highly populated areas like this are great, as players can grab a gun and head straight to one of the dumpsters in the area. If players are having a hard time waiting for enemy players, then aggravate one of the AI minions lure them to the hiding spot, and then shoot them after jumping in and out.

As players can see from the map, Reckless Railways is a great place to wait for unsuspecting prey. Luckily, players just need 1 hit from their gun on their enemy to complete the quest, but it can be rather bothersome when players are unaware of the hiding spots.
