The addition of Zero Build was revolutionary to Fortnite. How to Turn Off Simple Edit in Fortnite
Simple Edit allows players to edit their structures in Fortnite without manually having to pick which panels they want to edit in or out of their build. Instead, the game will automatically do this by analyzing where the player's cursor is aimed. While this sounds like a great way to simplify this feature, it can also be frustrating as it requires more precision when looking at the structure.
Epic Games wanted to push players to use Simple Edit and recently added a pop-up with an option to turn it on. Whether players did so on accident or willingly so they could try it out, they might've realized that it's not for them and they'd rather play with Simple Edit off.
