Summary
- According to a new leak, Dupli-Kate and Allen the Alien from Amazon's animated series Invincible will join Fortnite in Chapter 6 Season 2.
- Omni-Man, Atom Eve, and Invincible all came to the title in late 2023.
More characters from Invincible will be joining Fortnite, according to a new leak. Amazon's popular animated superhero series has already collaborated with Epic Games' Fortnite previously, though this leaked upcoming crossover will bring a few more characters into battle as part of the game's new Chapter 6 Season 2 update.
While its gunplay and survival mechanics have made the game incredibly popular, a pillar of Fortnite's continued success lies in Epic Games' willingness to collaborate and work with just about any franchise. From Master Chief and Doom Guy to Hatsune Miku and Naruto, dozens upon dozens of world-famous characters and faces have made their way into Fortnite over the years, with recent crossovers amping up the wackiness even further. Not only have collaborations introduced franchises like Skibidi Toilet into the world of Fortnite, but they have also seen Epic Games team up with the popular 2D animated series Invincible, with several more characters reportedly now on the way.
Epic Games Faces Another Fortnite Lawsuit Over the In-Game Store
Epic Games gets hit with a new lawsuit, this time over Fortnite's in-game store, adding to the company's ongoing legal battles.
According to leaker ShiinaBR, two more characters from Amazon's original streaming series Invincible will be coming to Fortnite. These new faces include Dupli-Kate and Allen the Alien. Prices and other details regarding these new items are unknown, though previous Invincible skins cost 1,500 V-Bucks. This is a somewhat standard price for skins in Fortnite, though players have become accustomed to seeing multiple items come bundled together for a discounted price.
New Fortnite x Invincible Collab Leaked
This follows rumors of a new collaboration between Fortnite and Invincible and would mark the game's second crossover with the show, as Omni-Man, Atom Eve, and Invincible all came to the title in late 2023. Not only does Fortnite's collaboration with Invincible continue the trend of movie, TV, and video game characters coming to the battle royale, but it also shows Epic Games' openness to creating more adult-oriented items and cosmetics. Despite being rated T for Teen, Fortnite's past collaborations include a wide range of characters, including some from mature-rated content. Invincible is infamous for its violence and gore, with other crossovers including Mike Myers from the Halloween franchise as well as Jigsaw from the Saw films.
Fortnite recently launched its Chapter 6 Season 2 update, which made major changes to the map and weapon pool, as well as the game's ongoing and ever-expanding storyline. Titled "Lawless," Fortnite's current season is all about crime, making collecting gold bars a top priority for players this time around. As expected, Chapter 6 Season 2 includes a slew of new battle pass rewards, with the final tier being none other than Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat.
