Fortnite may be adding Item Shop functions to its website soon. Fortnite has had its Item Shop rotations since October 2017, with the Skull Trooper, Assault Trooper, and Ranger skins being some of the first to ever be featured in the shop. Fortnite has shop rotations daily, with some items being carried over to the next day.

In Chapter 5 Season 3 on May 24, timers will accompany each item as opposed to just the daily 24-hour timer. This update also includes changes to Fortnite Festival and the introduction of a Fallout collaboration. Epic has already teased the T-60 power armor in Fortnite as part of the update.

An update to the Fortnite website pointed out by Twitter user Lele reveals some functions of the item shop being added soon. It appears that Epic is working on enabling direct purchases and refunds on the website, as well as possibly introducing "Video Previews." These features have been in development for some time, but Epic has only recently begun implementing them on the website. Epic has added a lot of sections to the shop since its inception, with Fortnite Festival songs and LEGO sets being some of the most recent additions.

Epic May Soon Add Item Shop Functions on Fortnite's Website

Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 3 will follow a post-apocalyptic theme, with Fallout being the first major collaboration of the Season. Fortnite creators were sent toy trucks from Epic, depicting one of the new vehicles in Fortnite. A Mad Max-style set of skins was also shown off and leaked as part of Chapter 5 Season 3.

In the meantime, Fortnite Festival will be adding accessibility options to Pro Bass and Pro Lead difficulty modes. Players can now bind any controller or keyboard on PC to play the two Pro modes. The update, coming May 24, also includes support for console players to use their controllers in Pro mode as well. Fans who own supported guitar controllers will also have access to play Vocals and Drums on their devices. Fortnite Festival has been releasing songs every week since its release, with over 100 songs in the catalog so far. Each one supports Pro modes for players. Fans can look forward to this update along with Chapter 5 Season 3 coming May 24.
