Where to Find and Deliver a Jar of Dirt in Fortnite

Although Davy Jones cannot step on land, that all changes once every ten years. It's no surprise that Jack Sparrow would do anything to ensure his safety, which is why he seeks a glass jar filled with dirt. This Pirates of the Caribbean plot thread makes its way to Fortnite Battle Royale with the Cursed Sails pass quest, requiring players to not only find a jar of dirt but to deliver it to Jack Sparrow.

Whilst a jar of dirt might not seem like the most interesting treasure hunt, it will be highly sought after for its quest rewards for those looking to unlock Jack Sparrow in Fortnite among other cosmetics and rewards from the Cursed Sails event pass which crosses Pirates of the Caribbean with Fortnite.

Where to Find a Jar of Dirt

To find a Jar of Dirt in Fortnite, players will need to head South of the Nitrodrome in Fortnite's Battle Royale map. Just past the river of the Nitrodrome, and along the train tracks covered in sand, they will find a building and a vending machine. Entering this region, players might have a '!' Icon appear to imply that they are close. Simply head to the rubble of the derailed and buried train to acquire the Jar of Dirt. Even i f players are eliminated at this stage, it does not matter, as players can complete this quest across various games without having to return here to pick up another Jar of Dirt.

Where to Delivery a Jar of Dirt to Jack Sparrow

Now that the Jar of Dirt is acquired, players have a hefty run ahead of them. Not only are they going to have to battle their way to Jack Sparrow with 99 other players on the map, but they are going to need to venture pretty far away since Jack Sparrow is located on the very East part of the map, just South of Grand Glacier.

Upon reaching below this sloped mountain and heading to Jack Sparrow, who will be aimlessly wandering a beach beside his ship, players can interact with him to open a dialogue chain. Players will want to click Continue and then Hand over Jar of Dirt, to complete the quest and say goodbye to Jack Sparrow, as he will tell players to "bugger off". Savvy?
