- Epic Games continuously adds popular IPs to Fortnite, with Star Wars being one of the most notable.
A new leak has teased that Fortnite may receive another crossover with Star Wars. Fortnite has an impressive track record of collaborations with popular IPs from games, anime and movies, content creators, and famous personalities, with Star Wars being one of the most notable names.
Epic Games has added a selection of cosmetics over the seasons, bringing several Star Wars characters to Fortnite. In 2022, the Han Solo, Leia Organa, and Luke Skywalker skins were released, marking the debut of some of the most iconic faces from the original trilogy in the game. Representing the antagonists, after the Kylo Ren skin was added in 2019, in 2022 it was Darth Vader's turn to debut, with the Darth Maul skin following in 2023. Now, a new leak reveals that this list of Star Wars skins could soon increase.
Fortnite Dev Explains Aim Assist Changes in v31.20 Update
Fortnite has rolled out its v31.20 update, which makes significant changes to the game's aim assist among a variety of new content.
As spotted by well-known leaker iFireMonkey, concept art has been found for a new Fortnite skin based on the Star Wars TIE fighter pilot. They note that the files are for a LEGO Fortnite skin, but since Epic Games always releases a normal variant, the chances are that players will have access to the outfit for use in the game's other modes. TIE fighters are one of the best-known ship designs in the Star Wars franchise, serving both the Empire and the First Order in battle.
Fortnite to Receive New Star Wars Collaboration Soon
According to information shared by Twitter user Xgamer3607, Fortnite may release a skin based on the previously scrapped Rebel Leia Organa, and the TIE Fighter pilot outfit. Although the leak doesn't give a specific date of when this new collaboration between Star Wars and Epic Games' battle royale will arrive for players, the user notes that the two cosmetics should “most likely” arrive when the Chewbacca skin comes to the store.
In May this year, Epic Games added new Star Wars skins based on Dagobah Luke, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, and AWR Trooper. In August, IG-11 and Moff Gideon both received the Fortnite treatment. As for the TIE fighter pilot and Rebel Leia Organa skins, it's not known whether they'll be coming directly to the shop, or via a dedicated event. As is always the case with leaks, players should take this information with a pinch of salt, as information can always change along the way. While players wait, other Fortnite skins are available, with players able to purchase new Doctor Doom, Iron Man, and Ghost Rider outfits.
