Fortnite could be bringing Tilted Towers to its ever-popular Blitz Royale mode, if one leaker is to be believed. The location is easily one of the game's most iconic and beloved, becoming almost synonymous with the shooter itself. Over the years, Fortnite has repeatedly brought it back between seasons and various game modes, and now it could be coming to Blitz Royale.

The fast-paced, smaller mode has taken over Fortnite since its re-emergence in June 2025. It was such a hit that Epic made Blitz Royale a permanent Fortnite mode after extending its initially limited window. Now, it seems like the team is leaning even further into its popularity through the introduction of Tilted Towers.

Fortnite's Two New Game Modes Make the Game's Immediate Future Clear as Day

After receiving an unexpected influx of players, regular updates, and two new spin-off modes, Fortnite may have a new golden child.

Prominent Fortnite leaker Shiina announced Tilted Towers would make its way into Blitz Royale in an August 1 tweet. Shiina didn't offer any specifics about when fans can expect the location to appear in the game mode but said it would be "coming soon." While "soon" can mean a lot of things to different people, it would make sense for Epic to introduce the location within the next month or two to capitalize on Blitz Royale's popularity. The mode set new Fortnite records for concurrent and peak players in June, but waiting too long could leave the company with a smaller audience as the hype naturally fades over time.

Tilted Towers Could Be Coming to Blitz Royale

This wouldn't mark the first time the iconic location has reappeared in Fortnite this year. In January, Tilted Towers returned to the Fortnite OG mode, which makes sense, given that OG's whole appeal is recreating the original game experience. Blitz Royale is not quite as nostalgia-driven, so Tilted doesn't have the same thematic ties to the mode, but bringing a beloved location to a wildly popular game type is just as sensible a move for Epic.

Fortnite OG players are getting sick of bots

Tilted Towers may not be the only big change coming to the game mode, either. Another leaker suggested that Fortnite could remove bots from Blitz Royale sometime in the future. That leak also predicted the ability to team up in groups of six, which Epic Games brought to Blitz in late July. That doesn't necessarily mean the other leaked information, especially from other sources, is reliable, but it does confirm Epic is keeping the good times rolling with Blitz Royale.
