The drops were live from August 7 until August 11 and featured a few cosmetics: the Metal Menace wrap, the Tome of Skulls back bling, and the Skeletal Cybersythe pickaxe. These items are now in the Item Shop bundled with the Skulldroid skin. Fans who got all the items in the Twitch Drops can purchase the bundle and get the remaining item, the Skulldroid skin, for only 100 V-Bucks.
Bundles were a great addition to Fortnite because they allow players to purchase an entire set of items at a discount price. Additionally, if fans have bought some of its items before, they can get the rest of the bundle at a much lower price, since what they already paid will be subtracted from the bundle's cost. This is why the Metal Menace bundle is so cheap for those who participated in the Shock 'N Awesome Twitch Drops. However, if they were to buy the skin by itself, they'd still have to pay the full 800 V-Bucks.
The Metal Menace bundle is available in the Item Shop until August 22, at 8 PM ET. It is unknown when it will return, so players who want to purchase it have until the shop resets on Friday to get it. Since the bundle is available at such a low price, gamers can simply grind the Battle Pass until they reach their next V-Bucks reward. The free version of the pass offers 200 V-Bucks, so it is doable for players even if they haven't bought the Battle Pass.
