Beyond bringing back fan-favorite locations, Fortnite OG also returned a lot of popular weapons and items to the game. Classic items like the Bush, Bouncers, Port-a-Fort, and Spike Traps made a comeback in the Chapter 1-inspired season. Among the weapons that returned were the classic AR, the Pump Shotgun, the Grenade Launcher, and the Rocket Launcher. As some fans anticipate a Chapter 2 OG Season, some are requesting the return of their favorite weapons to the game.

Reddit user Oxik_4 recently shared an image compiling the Railgun, Ex-Caliber Rifle, Aug without a scope, and the EvoChrome weapons from Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. The image includes text that states they want to see these weapons return to Fortnite, while the Reddit user suggests that they at least want one of them. This caused other users to praise their favorite vaulted weapons like the Boom Bolt, Explosive Repeater Rifle, the Gravitron, the Inflate-A-Bull, the Twin Mag AR, and LMG. While the EvoChrome weapons return in Fortnitemares for Horde Rush mode, most of these items have been vaulted for a while.

Fortnite Players Want These Weapons and Items to Return

Beyond the Battle Royale and Zero Build modes, Fortnite doesn't offer most of these weapons in Creative mode, either. This may be bizarre to some fans, as Creative features the Infinity Blade, the Marvel superpowers, Lightsabers, and more. Items and weapons are often vaulted in the game as new things are introduced, keeping the live service game interesting. Other companies that have used a vault to boost interest in classic releases include Disney, Nintendo, Blizzard Entertainment, and Warner Bros. While some fans lament what goes into the vault, it boosts enthusiasm for returning things when they're released from the vault. As another Fortnite OG season has been teased with Stark Industries tech on the current map, some vaulted weapons and items may be included in a future update.

As Fortnite OG brought some nostalgia back to the battle royale, a future season may revisit some of these fan requests. With Fortnite receiving regular updates, some of these vaulted weapons and items may return in the future.
