Epic Games has dropped a teaser for the next season of Fortnite OG, making it possible for fans to check out the content coming to the game with Chapter 1 Season 2, and this includes named locations, weapons, and OG Pass cosmetics. For a long time, Fortnite players had to limit themselves to Battle Royale, Save the World, if they bought access to it, and Creative Mode. However, in the past year or so, this has changed drastically with the permanent addition of several major game modes, such as LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing, Fortnite Ballistic, Fortnite Reload, and Fortnite OG.
Now, there are always plenty of gaming experiences to try out in Fortnite if players get bored of the same old game mode. Fortnite OG is one of the most beloved game modes, as it was a highly requested feature for years; there is just something about Athena Island, the OG map, that makes fans want to return. The first season of Fortnite OG started on December 6 and the time has come for it to end. Players have been anticipating the start of Season 2, as it was one of the best Fortnite seasons to date.
Fortnite Fans Think These 4 Emotes Should Be Gliders
Many Fortnite fans think that four particular Emotes should be Gliders in the future, which could happen simultaneously with one small change.
With the release of Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2 getting closer and closer, many players had already started speculating how many skins would be in OG Pass this time around and what they would look like. Gamers don't have to wonder anymore, as Epic Games has finally revealed the upcoming Fortnite OG cosmetics dropping on January 31. On top of that, the 29-second trailer that Epic Games posted lets players see the Chapter 1 named locations and items that will be returning to the game this week.
When Does Downtime for Fortnite v33.30 Start?
- January 31 at 4 AM ET
The teaser shows three modified versions of popular Chapter 1 skins that will be part of the OG Pass; Epic has revamped Sparkle Specialist, Cuddle Team Leader, and Black Knight. Even though Cuddle Team Leader wasn't part of the original Season 2 Pass, it's one of the most iconic Chapter 1 skins in Fortnite, so it makes sense to include it in the OG Pass.
Downtime starts at 4 AM ET but matchmaking will be disabled about a half hour before then. It is unknown how long it'll take for servers to go back up, and the release time for Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2 has not been revealed, so gamers will have to wait and see if it becomes available as soon as downtime ends or if it'll only go live at 9 AM ET, which is when events tend to start in Fortnite.
