On the topic of securing gear, weapons like the Leadspitter 3000 and the Swarmstrike enter the fray for players to make use of. Where to Find O.X.R. Chests in Fortnite

All O.X.R. Chest Locations in Fortnite

O.X.R. Chests are a loot cache unique to Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4, and while players may stumble across them randomly, they also spawn in several designated locations. If you are looking to drop in and open a few O.X.R. Chests right off spawn or during the early game, head to the following spots to guarantee one:

  • The O.X.R. Outpost west of Supernova Academy
  • O.X.R. HQ
  • Swarmy Stash
  • The Burd To Go just north of Foxy Floodgate
  • The O.X.R. Roadside base northwest of Pumpin' Pipes
  • The roadside O.X.R. Base far northwest of Shiny Shafts
  • Ranger's Ruin
  • The small O.X.R. Base far south of Outlaw Oasis
  • The O.X.R. Armory on the north side of Canyon Crossing
  • The O.X.R. Outpost north of Outpost Enclave
Open O.X.R. Bunkers

Each of the above locations has at least one O.X.R. Chest that players can drop into and open right at the start of the game. Later on in the match, players can also secure a guaranteed O.X.R. Chest by opening the O.X.R. Bunkers. These Bunkers become accessible once players reach O.X.R. Rank A and can be found in the following locations:

  • On the south side of the mountain near the First Order Base
  • On the north side of the mountain above Shiny Shafts
  • At the base of the snowy hill west of Foxy Floodgate
  • On the hill far south of Utopia City

Once you have located an O.X.R. Chest, simply interact with it to open it. Doing so can yield weapons, healing items, and potentially a Boon. Opening an O.X.R. Chest also contributes progress toward the "Search Rare Chests or O.X.R. Chests" weekly quest, and upon opening 10, players are awarded 20,000 XP.
