Fortnite Leak Teases New Superman Skin and Mythic Ability

A prominent Fortnite leaker claims that players could soon see a new Superman skin and mythic ability in Epic Games' popular battle royale.

In a recent post on Reddit, SethStar16T suggested that Epic Games should make the current Star Wars mini-season a permanent game mode in Fortnite. They praised the current balance of the season, with many other people stating that the unique loot pool is one of the best they've ever seen in the game. Currently, all of Fortnite's usual weapons have been replaced with blasters, making just about every fight a laser-filled frenzy. All the guns also feature an overheating mechanic instead of traditional bullets, which a lot of people have enjoyed. Players also have the ability to collect mythic weapons and abilities, such as Force Lightning and lightsabers.

Fortnite Players Want the Star Wars Season to Become Permanent

Even though a large portion of the community is enjoying their time with all the various Star Wars weapons and abilities, some people are still disappointed that Epic Games hasn't released lightsabers as pickaxes in Fortnite. One fan suggested that, since Epic Games already has a longstanding collaboration with LEGO, the developers should add toy lightsabers to the game as pickaxes. Unfortunately, many people believe the company has no intention of ever releasing the flashy and iconic weapon as a simple cosmetic in the game.

While many fans are enjoying the current Galactic Battle season, some gamers are already looking toward the future. Numerous leakers have suggested that the next season of Fortnite could be superhero-themed, based on the fact that a recent survey included 18 original superhero designs. The next season will also overlap with the upcoming Superman film by director James Gunn. Recent leaks have teased that Superman could receive another skin and mythic item in collaboration with the upcoming movie. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
