Players immediately recognized the rift from Fortnite, and the Poppy Playtime fandom began celebrating the exciting crossover event and congratulating the developer for the big team-up with Epic Games. Leakers had previously teased the possibility of joining the lineup of horror crossovers in Fortnite for 2025, and audiences will soon be able to enjoy the monstrous Huggy Wuggy hitting dance moves and no-scopes in the chaotic battle royale.
Buried in the static of the Poppy Playtime x Fortnite teaser, eagle-eyed audiences spotted the date 10-23-2025, meaning fans can mark their calendars for Huggy Wuggy to join the Fortnitemares festivities on October 23.
