Following a recent update, players were given quests to complete as a community; their objective was to summon all the Power Rangers and get Megazord to appear on the Fortnite island. While completing the task, Lord Zedd put a curse on the storm and made it much more dangerous, and it seems that he will soon strike again. Here's what players need to know about the Lord Zedd Power Hour and how it will affect everyone on the Battle Royale island.

Lord Zedd's Power Hour Event, Explained

Previously, Lord Zedd made the storm temporarily faster and stronger. The danger called players to action and incentivized them to complete the Community Quests in order to summon the Power Rangers so they could assemble Megazord.

In the next event, Lord Zedd will be messing with the weapons available on the Battle Royale island. This means that, besides healing items and throwables, players will only be able to find Blade Blasters, a Mythic Power Rangers weapon added with patch v37.30.

When Is the Lord Zedd Power Hour Event Taking Place in Fortnite?

As its name suggests, the Lord Zedd Power Hour event will last only one hour. Players who want to witness the event need to enter a match shortly after 2 PM ET on Saturday, September 20. At this point, all weapons on the island will be turned into Blade Blasters.

Once the clock strikes 3 PM ET, the curse will be lifted and weapons on the island will go back to normal. So, here is when the Lord Zedd Power Hour curse will be live:

  • Saturday, September 20, between 2 PM ET and 3 PM ET

Players can expect this hour to be filled with hectic fun. If they're not a fan of the Blade Blasters, then they'll only have to wait an hour before they can resume playing as they normally would.
