Great power awaits in the most destructive form, as the Precision Air Strike has come to Fortnite at last. Long teased as part of Chapter 6 Season 4's rollout, the Precision Air Strike has finally debuted in the Battle Royale mode for Fortnite, and players will be keen to get their hands on this one-time-use and completely overpowered item that will scorch a battlefield with explosives to exterminate bugs, buildings, and players with ease.
The Precision Air Strike has been temporarily disabled, but should return soon.
How to Get the Precision Air Strike in Fortnite
There are really only three ways that players can get the Precision Air Strike weapon in Fortnite, and each of them involves opening O.X.R. Chests that contain O.X.R. Specific gear. Players have a chance to get the Precision Air Strike when they open a Drop Pod, which will arrive at your location every time you increase your O.X.R. Rank through eliminating players, bugs, and bosses. Alternatively, players can search O.X.R. Chests. The most reliable way to get the Precision Air Strike in Fortnite is through the Rift Pod, which spawns at random after a certain amount of time has passed and the Storm Circle begins to close in. Inside this Rift Pod will always be a Precision Air Strike weapon.
How to Use the Precision Air Strike in Fortnite
Single-use item. Hold the designator steady and mark an area to call in a powerful precision strike capable of leveling entire buildings.
The Precision Air Strike only has one use before it's rendered useless, and players can activate it by holding R2/Left-Click, which will trigger a circular radius of red lasers from above. In a matter of seconds, the circle that's encased in the red laser will see 3 large bombs descend. These bombs have an incredibly large radius and will instantly destroy builds, no matter the materials used, and will also instantly kill other players, no matter the shields that they have. The Precision Air Strike is extremely overpowered, which is why there are so few of them in each Battle Royale match.
To easily complete the destroy 25 objects using the Precision Air Strike quest, you should head to populated areas like the O.X.R. HQ and Dystopia City.
