In fact, players can also grab cosmetics for their cars. Whether cruising around the island in an original design like the Deistro or racing around a track in a Lamborghini, there's a car for everyone in Fortnite. Here are just some of the best cars players can get.

Updated on February 19 by Nathan Round: Fortnite is constantly receiving new cosmetics, from additional emotes and pickaxes to a growing roster of outfits. The same applies to vehicle cosmetics, with more and more iconic cars arriving in the Item Shop each season. This list has been updated to include five additional entries, all of which are worthy of being among the best cars in Fortnite.

15 Diesel

A Dystopian Muscle Car

First up is the Diesel, a muscle car that seems to be ripped straight out of a dystopian movie. The vehicle is both sturdy and slick, boasting a considerable amount of weight while featuring an intricate design woven throughout. The engine protruding through the car’s hood is a great touch, along with the exhausts on either side of the car. The carbon fiber accents near the back wheels and along the bumper are also nice, further selling the futuristic race car aesthetic.

The Diesel also offers a neat balance between its primary and secondary paint jobs, allowing players to create unique looks by choosing complementary color schemes. Additionally, it comes with two unique decals, Lucky Seven and 00, adding to its customization options. For players seeking a vehicle that packs some horsepower, the Diesel could be a perfect choice.

14 Cyclone

Up next is the Cyclone, another original design, this time one that first debuted in Rocket League. With a low-hanging body typical of sports cars, complemented by sharp and intricate details, the Cyclone stands out as a stylish yet original ride.

While the vehicle’s primary paint job is the most striking feature, the secondary paint job highlights the vehicle's trim, adding a subtle yet stylish touch. The car also comes with two additional styles, available as part of separate bundles. These include a Nick Eh 30-inspired design in the Nick Eh 30 Cyclone Bundle and an Adidas-themed design in the Adidas Copa Cyclone Bundle. The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat offers everything fans of muscle cars could want: a broad and powerful design, smooth accents, clean-looking taillights, and a rear spoiler to top it off. The vehicle also comes with five unique decals, including the Hellcat Decal, allowing players to showcase the iconic Hellcat logo on their vehicle's side.

12 Jäger 619

A European Classic

Following the Cyclone is the Jäger 619, another popular vehicle that first debuted in Rocket League. This elegant car draws much of its inspiration from European racers, closely resembling the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 and showcasing the power of German engineering. The Jäger 619 is a truly stylish vehicle to flaunt on the tracks, featuring a sleek body with a prominent spoiler — perfect for players cruising around in Rocket Racing.

In addition to its original design, the Jäger 619 offers several variations included in separate bundles. These include the Metallica Jäger 619 Bundle, the Adidas F50 Jäger 619 Bundle, and the Alan Walker Jäger 619 Bundle, giving players a variety of styles to customize their ride. And just like the Cyclone, the Jäger 619 is automatically transferred from Rocket League to Fortnite for players who already own it.

Next up is a more original design, one that may be inspired by cars from the Ferrari series. This is, of course, the Deistro, a retro-style car with just a touch of modern design. The narrow, long bonnet of the Deistro gives it a classic retro look, but with its intricate design and rear spoiler, one could easily imagine this car being mass-produced today.

The primary color players go with will cover most of the car's body, while their paint style will mainly alter the trims, allowing for some neat designs — especially if players go for the Deistro's Gold Trim. This supercar also comes with six unique decals, with Old Flame and Sooo Fly standing out as some of the best. With the amount of customization players are offered, the Deistro may just be one of the best cars available.

10 Dominus GT

A Modern Muscle Reimagined

Though the Diesel may appear to be a futuristic muscle car, the Dominus GT is a true, authentic one. This vehicle has the look and feel of a classic muscle car, featuring a bulky design that just screams horsepower. The dark details throughout the default version of this car are sleek, along with the subtle sharp accents around the arches. What really sells this car, however, is the supercharger mounted on the engine.

This elegant vehicle originally debuted in Rocket League’s Premium Pass for Season 15 and is a classic sports car that many players may not see cruising around the Fortnite map.

Featuring 1960s aesthetics along with standout features like a rear spoiler and flared arches, the Nissan Fairlady Z is perfect for players looking to step away from the more modern and futuristic designs of other vehicles. Although it is unlikely that this car will become available for purchase again anytime soon, it was briefly obtainable for free if players subscribed to Fortnite Crew in June 2024. Despite its limited time availability, it remains a rare and cherished addition that those fortunate enough to acquire can proudly show off.

8 Behemoth

Megalo Don's Iconic Monster SUV

Fortnite seems to be sorely lacking when it comes to skins for the SUV, but the few that are in the game offer a diverse range of designs. The very first SUV skin in Fortnite history is the Behemoth, which many fans may recognize as the same vehicle the Megalo Don boss used to cruise around the island in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.

Keeping in line with the season's theme, the Behemoth boasts a dieselpunk-esque design, taking the form of a monster jeep—a rather unique look compared to other vehicles on this list. Its most prominent feature is the front, shaped like a Megalodon, complete with a toothy grin and glowing eyes for headlights. It also comes with a few notable decals, such as the Behemoth Dune Hunter and Rubius decals, each offering a fresh take on the vehicle's look.

7 Lockjaw

Keeping in line with vehicles that debuted in Chapter 5 Season 3 is the Lockjaw, another boss vehicle turned cosmetic—this time driven by the Ringmaster Scarr boss. The Lockjaw features a design similar to the Behemoth, complete with a toothy, shark-like mouth and glowing eyes on the front. However, this time, the vehicle is much slimmer and sleeker, serving as another skin for the Sports Car.

At its core, the Lockjaw is a muscle car, boasting a rugged design reminiscent of something straight out of Mad Max. It also comes with a few unique decals, including Lockjaw Oasis, Lockjaw Heatwave, and Lockjaw Blackout. However, this vehicle is rather elusive, as it is exclusively available through the Lockjaw Starter Quest Pack, which also includes the Cinder skin.

6 Lamborghini Urus SE

Super SUV With a Great Roster of Decals

Following the Lockjaw is the Lamborghini Urus SE, another real-world vehicle, and one of Fortnite’s few SUV car bodies. This four-seater may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of a Lamborghini, but it looks incredibly impressive for a Super SUV. It boasts a broad, stylish design and one of the best-looking bumpers among most vehicles.

What truly sets the Lamborghini Urus SE apart is its roster of unique decals, each offering a drastically different look. The most striking option is the Opalescent Decal, which shifts between shades of teal, pink, and purple as players rotate their camera. Another standout is Blue Shapeshift, featuring a deep blue hue with a dynamic, two-toned glossy finish.
