The Speed Run mode in Fortnite’s Rocket Racing features multiple quests to complete in order to unlock rewards - here’s a complete list.

Although Fortnite Rocket Racing appears fun and playful at first glance, it is a competitive game with quests for players to complete to earn more XP and rank up. Players can drive on different racing tracks, from easy and beginner-friendly ones to more advanced tracks, for a chance to finish first. This guide covers all the Rocket Racing quests and their rewards.

All Season Zero Tune Up Quests and Rewards

Fortnite's Season Zero Tune Up Racing features two sets of challenges to complete: Racing Challenges and Rank Challenges. These feature a total of 13 challenges to complete, and they're as follows:

Complete races first or get ahead of other players over several matches. The total of the players who come after you is added to your score.

Black Drift Smoke Trail

Get Startline Boost of at least 50 percent in Races

Press the accelerate button just after the start light turns green to get a Starting Boost. The boost must be at least 50 percent.

Orange Drift Smoke Trail

Hit Boost Pads

Hit 1,000 Boost Pads on various tracks over several matches. These are the green arrow pads found on the track.

Fortnite’s Season Zero Kickoff Racing has five quests for players to complete. They are:

Finish all races on the track by covering all three laps.

Drive Total Distance

XP based on stage

Players must cover the required total distance, so keep racing till you meet the specified amount.

Drift Total Distance

XP based on stage

Use the drift button to make tight turns. Drifting boosts your speed, and the game calculates your overall distance each time you drift.

Activate Turbo

XP based on stage

Turbo gives players a speed boost to help them overtake other racers. To complete this quest, activate turbo for the specified amount of time.

Fly Total Distance

XP based on stage

Fly makes your vehicle rocket in the air for a short distance. To fly, press the jump button on your controller until you cover the required distance.

Each of the five quests has seven stages for players to complete. Once players complete a stage in a quest, they earn XP, and the quest resets to the next stage until all seven are complete. The XP rewards and requirements increase with each stage, as shown below:

  • Stage One: 2,000 XP
  • Stage Two: 4,000 XP
  • Stage Three: 6,000 XP
  • Stage Four: 8,000 XP
  • Stage Five: 10,000 XP
  • Stage Six: 12,000 XP
  • Stage Seven: 14,000 XP

So, the more you race and progress, the more XP you earn. Alongside earning XP and ranking up in Rocket Racing, there are additional rewards players can get by completing bonus goals. These include:
