Fortnite Rocket Racing takes a detour from the traditional Battle Royale experience with its high-octane vehicular mayhem and beautifully designed racing tracks. While the goal for this mode isn't to get a Victory Royale, participating in these thrilling races still lets players progress through their Battle Pass just like any other mode.

On top of the over-the-top fun and opportunities to level up, Fortnite Rocket Racing also comes with its own unique rewards. While most of these rewards are usually tied to completing quests, obtaining the Diestro Gold Trim Card Body requires a different method altogether.

How to Unlock the Diestro Gold Trim

The Diestro Gold Trim is a free reward players can earn in Fortnite and Rocket League by signing into Rocket League: Sideswipe, a free mobile game available on the Epic Games Store. To get the Diestro Gold Trim, players need to do the following:

  • Download the Epic Games Store on a supported mobile device (worldwide for Android devices or iOS in the European Union)
  • Sign in with your Epic Games account
  • Install Rocket League: Sideswipe via the Epic Games Store
  • Sign in to Rocket League: Sideswipe with your Epic Games account

Once completed, players can open Fortnite to receive the Diestro Gold Trim, a free Car Body for the Whiplash. Along with the Diestro Gold Trim, players will also receive six Decals that can be equipped with the Diestro Gold Trim Whiplash for all Fortnite modes, including Battle Royale and Rocket Racing.

Players will only be able to unlock the Gold painted style for this car body, the rest will remain locked.
