The Roly Poly has arrived, providing players with an ally within the bug swarms of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4. The swarm might be deadly, but the Roly Poly is a cuddly bug who means no harm and simply wants to bounce around at high speeds with a friend to keep them company. If players are looking to make the most of this mobility item in Fortnite, or they simply want to find all locations of the Roly Poly, then they can check out the guide below.
Roly Poly Locations in Fortnite
The Roly Poly is a bug vehicle that can be found in random spots around the Battle Royale map, but there are spawns that are more consistent than others. In general, players are going to want to check around Infected Outposts and Bug Nests for the Roly Poly, and here are some easy Roly Poly locations for each match:
- Dystopia City
- The Hive
- Ranger's Ruin
- Demon's Debris
- North of Canyon Crossing
- North of Outpost Enclave
- West of Supernova Academy
- South of O.X.R. HQ
How to Use the Roly Poly
The Roly Poly is a living bug that players can interact with to jump inside, where they will then take control of this oversized bug to perform fast movement with plenty of bounces, hops, and shockwave effects. The Roly Poly is incapable of damaging enemies, and players can only use it as a vehicle in which they can get to areas fast through these controls:
- Bounce: R2/RT/Left-Click (Tap)
- Dive Bounce: R2/RT/Left-Click (Tap in Air)
- Increase Weight / Rev Up: R2/RT/Left-Click (Hold)
- Exit: Square/X/F
The Roly Proly is pretty fast, especially if players are timing their dive bounces correctly. However, it's worth noting that if the Roly Poly has been shot, then it will get scared, and players are ejected from its protective shell. In cases like this, players will want to interact with the Roly Poly to soothe it. The best way to use the Roly Poly is to use it as a mobility item and jump out of it in mid-air to get the height on unsuspecting opponents, as there is no fall damage from exiting the Roly Poly.
