If anyone dares to infiltrate Burns' Manor or mildly annoy Mr. Burns in any way, then he will call to release the hounds, sending a vicious gang of Dobermanns to scare or gnaw at those who have wronged him. With Fortnite x Simpsons bringing Springfield Island into the Battle Royale mode, the hounds become one such reference that players can actually use to their advantage. Not only can players receive a small army of AI-controlled soldiers to ensure that they will maintain control over a specific POI, but it will also reward them with secret XP to help them level up the Battle Pass for Chapter 6 Mini-Season 2!
How to Release the Hounds in Fortnite Simpsons
Players can release the hounds in Fortnite by heading to Burns Manor, which is the furthest right POI on the Battle Royale map. Once at Burns Manor, you will need to enter through the front doors of the manor and take an immediate left into Mr. Burns' office. On Mr. Burns' desk, you will find a red button, which you can interact with to release the hounds. Only one player per match can release the hounds, and doing so will provide you with a plethora of XP and an army of Dober Men. The Dober Men will instantly spawn in the Burns Manor and outside in the garden area.
These Dober Men will remain passive to you, and they cannot hurt you, just as you cannot hurt them. While their health is limited, they can easily overwhelm other enemy players with their sheer numbers, so use them to your advantage when you drop from the Battle Bus to Burns Manor to provide yourself with an army of Dober Men while other players have no idea how you managed to summon them!
